Aimee J. Camp

Welcome to my home page.  I attended the graduate School of Information Resources and Library Science at the University of Arizona in Tucson. I am from Bayard, New Mexico which is 10 miles away from Silver City, New Mexico. Both towns are tiny--you don't wind up there by accident.
I went to college at Eastern Mennonite University (It was called Eastern Mennonite College, way back then, though). If you want to know a little more about me, check out my resume.

I am now working as a Branch Manager at the Ysleta Branch of the El Paso Public Library in El Paso, Texas. I manage a 10,500 sq. ft. facility with eight employees. It is in the Mission Valley, right next to San Elizario and Socorro. I get to practice my Spanish every day. It is a blast!!
Listed below are some of my favorite resources:

Texas Library Association
Dinosaur stuff

Here are some sites that are about the movie "Salt of the Earth." It was filmed near my home town, and a number of my family members played parts in it. My mother had a chance to be an extra, but she was too shy. This movie commemorates a great event, and the political repercussions that followed its release have made it historically significant. If you ever get a chance to see it, do--it is worth your time.
