Vampires are the offsprings of the fallen angels caught between light and darkness, searching for some answers of their eternal existence. some of them crossed other realms to find sanctuary, some obeyed their thirst and hunt for mortals. these creatures have the power to heal their wounds, they have great immunities to all disease. Vampires are not demons they are nocturnal creatures just like the other species who hibernates all day and hunt for food at night.
Vampires have strong senses, they can hear things no ordinary beings can hear, they can sense danger a thousand miles away, see things that are unseen to mortals. the reason why they have this gifts because they are half angelic, they have psychic abilities. Some Vampires do hunt for survival some hunt for sport some hunt to prove that they are the stronger species{just like some animals}it is their nature.
