Episode Guide

I'm sure that most of you haven't seen every episode, I've come close! So I'll put in this so that you have an idea of what happens, and very slowly, I'll add in manuscripts of some episodes! Here's a guide to the ratings:

«

They should be ashamed of themselves!

« «

Good, but I could live with never seeing it again

« « «

Average Pokemon greatness

« « « «

Great, but I didn't really rave about it…

« « « « «

One of the best!

?

I haven't seen it! WAAAAAA

Extra Bit:

"Electric Warrior Porygon"

a.k.a "The Seizure Episode"

hehe, "the scene" is really cool, I've seen it! (No, I didn't have a seizure, I got a little bit of a headache, but they might not have been related I had the flu at the time) After this showed, there were no new episodes for a year and a 1/2! The big come back was Pikachu's Goodbye episode. So they, or course, did that to draw back a big audience! "the scene" was all Pikachu's fault. As Porygon attacks Pikachu shots bolts of electricity at him, so there's lots of flashing lights. You can see the diffrence from before and after this incident, all of Pikachu's attacks are a little less bright.

Episode 1- Pokemon, I choose you!

What can I say? It's the first episode! Ash wakes up late, so he misses out on getting one of the starter Pokemon and gets Pikachu, who proceeds to Thundershock him, Professor Oak and Ash's mother. Pikachu won't listen to Ash, so he tries to capture a Pidgey on his own. Eventually he bonks a Spearow with a rock, and gets attacked. As he and Pikachu run from the angry flock, they meet up with Misty. So Ash steals her bike, wrecks it, and gets thrown in the mud. After declaring to the Spearows that he'll be the greatest pokemon master of all time, Pikachu saves them with a huge Thundershock. They wake up, see Houou, and then it ends!

Episode 2- A Pokemon Emergency

Ash and Pikachu arrive in Viridian, where he is stopped by Officer Jenny. She takes him to the pokécenter on her motorcycle, where Nurse Joy hurries Pikachu into surgery. While Ash waits, he calls his mother, who reveals that Ash's dad took 4 days to get there. Then Misty shows up with a bike that looks like somebody tried to fry it. Then Pikachu is brought out, with a little light bulb set-up on his head (very kawii!) Cue Team Rocket! They pull up this wanted poster, and complain about it for awhile. Then they attack the center, and cut the power. ("We have our own Pika Power source!") As Joy starts to transfer the pokeballs to Pewter City, Ash and Misty battle Team Rocket. Eventually Koffing blows the place sky high because he tried to use Poison Gas while he was being electrocuted… ("Too late. But not for the fireworks!") It ends with Ash facing off against a Caterpie….

Episode 3- Ash Captures a Pokemon!

After a quick recap, we get back to Ash's showdown with the Caterpie. He throws the pokéball, Caterpie gets sucked in, it rattles around dramatically, and then the little rid light goes out showing that it had successfully caught Caterpie. Ash jumps around for, like, 5 minutes babbling about it being his first step to becoming a real pokemon master, etc. After awhile, A Pidgeotto shows up and Ash captures it too. (Not much happens in this episode) TR show up again, and tell Ash that they want Pikachu 'cause it's so strong, and all that. Pikachu gets taken out with a Sludge attack, so Ash uses Caterpie and wins. As Misty is about to touch Caterpie, he evolves to Metapod. This is apparently the fastest any of its kind have ever evolved (earlier in the episode, it tells Pikachu that it wants to evolve so that maybe Misty will like it better, and so that it can start a family)

«

Episode 4- Challenge of the Samurai

Ack! This was the worst! The only thing that was cool was Metapod evolved. It WAS kind of cute when Misty and Pikachu were sunbathing during the Metapod vs. Metapod battle, but still, I hate this episode to this very day! ::shudder:: just thinking about it is starting to bore me, so lets move on!

Episode 5-Showdown in Pewter City

Yea! Brock! They finally make it out of the forest, and in to Pewter City where they meet a man named Flynt (Who has a big part that they don't say early on but is easy to figure out). After a quick stop at the pokecenter, Ash heads for the Pewter City Gym, where Brock makes his entrance (Yea!) Ash was (of course) whooped by Onix (Yea! Go Onix!) Flynt helps Ash power up Pikachu after showing him why Brock, for all his skill, has never competed in Pokemon league. That reason is his 10 little brothers and sisters (who all look like mini-Brocks). So Ash heads back to the gym. HE fries Geodude, so Brock calls out Onix. Pikachu zaps Onix, gets in a BIDE attack, but Brock releases Pikachu and tells Ash he doesn’t want to hurt the pokemon, and that Ash should just give up. Ash doesn’t, then Pikachu starts shooting off electricity, he starts a fire then the automatic sprinkler system. That REALLY weakens Onix; but as Ash gets ready to tell Pikachu to finish it, and then closes his eyes and starts saying how he can't do it; he just feels like all of Brock's younger siblings are stopping him as he remembers Brock's kindness to Pikachu. Misty tells him to open his eyes, and lo and behold, all of Brock's brothers and sisters ARE holding on to him, they can't stand to see Brock's beloved Onix suffer. Ash leaves, but is run down by Brock who gives him the Bolder Badge anyways. Flynt then shows up and reveals he is ::false surprised look:: that he's the dead-beat father who never game back! Bet he has now, and tells Brock to go on his own journey.

Episode 6- Clefairy and the Moon Stone

(As I typed that, MS Word automatically filled in "Moon Kingdom" how weird! Do you know how long it's been since I wrote anything about Sailor Moon? It won't do that with "Ash Ketchum" or anything else! Now I'm mad!)

I havn't seen it, but I know what happens, Brock catches a Zubat in this episode. TR decides to get the Moon Stone. So they put up lights in the mountain that really screw up the pokemon living there. The cute little Clefairys have the Moon Stone, though. (They are sooooo kawii!) As Ash, Misty, Brock, and Seymore find them they are praying to the Moon Stone (See the quotes page) TR actually get the stone, but are thwarted by Onix (This is a cool shot) So I'm sure they Blast Off again.

Episode 7- The Water Flowers of Cerulean City

Ash and Brock move on the Cerulean City, Misty didn't want too. So Ash heads off the gym where they see the "Sensational Sisters" and are 9almost ) given the Cascade badge. Misty shows up just in time and battles Ash. Pikachu refuses to fight, so Ash uses Butterfree and Pidgeotto to battle her. TR interrupts the battle, so Ash gets the badge anyways.

Episode 8-The Path to Pokemon League

This is the first time we learn what a good cook Brock is. They end up at Pokemon Tech. A school where the graduates can enter Pokemon league without earning a single badge. Jezell is the top student, and tends to pick on the others ("…but I'm just Jezell!") She beats Misy with Graveler, but is then gets her Cubone beat by Pikachu and learns that text books don't match up to real experience.
