A Second Grade Animal Park

Four Habitats Worth Exploring!

Second Grade Development of an Animal Park
Two of our school's second grade classes participated in a pilot program that incorporated math, science and technology. Students learned to use the design process to develop their own animal park. Four habitats and twenty different animals were studied. Students took this concept from the planning board to opening day at the park. They designed everything from signs to animal feeders to park vehicles. Visit the four different habitats in our animal park to learn a little bit about the habitats and animals we studied. Enjoy!
