Chapter Eleven

The door creaked open slowly, the lone man stepping inside and studying the two sleeping figures. One last time… He thought to himself. This time it has to work.

He stepped up to the bed and shook Aidan awake.

The boy jolted up after being woken up, and then recoiled in shock. Saige murmured softly and stirred before slowly opening her eyes because of all the movement.

"Aidan…?" She asked sleepily as he eyes adjusted to the darkness. "What's going on?" She sat up and suddenly saw Edgar standing beside then. She nearly screamed; she saw that gleam in his eyes. Was he going to rape her again? She didn't know if she could survive even the thought. She pressed herself against Aidan, trying to protect herself from Edgar's piercing eyes.

Edgar ignored her though, and instead looked at Aidan.

"It's time…" He said.

"T-time for what…?" Aidan stuttered.

"Time for you to love her properly."

"Oh God, not this again. Just leave her alone!" Aidan cried. Saige shivered beside him and turned her face away from Edgar.

"I can't! Not yet, you have to do it."

"No! I won't hurt her!"

"Hurt her?" Edgar looked stunned for a moment, and then he laughed. "Hurt her!" He chuckled, as if it were the funniest thing in the world. "Really, do you need me to show you again?"

"NO!" Saige shrieked; she grabbed Aidan and pulled his face down to hers. "Just do it," She whispered.

"What!" He hissed back.

"I said do it!"

"Saige, I can't…I couldn't…"

"Please…" She begged, tears coming to her eyes, "Better you than him." She glanced at Edgar wearily. Aidan could feel himself begin to cry. Behind them, Edgar started to laugh again. "She wants you, Aidan!" He grinned, "Why don't you make her happy? Don't you love her?"

Aidan opened his mouth, but no words would come out.

"No?" Edgar questioned. "You don't? You hate her then…"

"No!" Aidan cried. "I want you to stay away from her!"

"Jealous?" Edgar laughed again. "Do it, boy!" He snarled.

Aidan just stared at him for a long time.

"Fine," Edgar said finally. He began to unbutton his shirt and Saige squeaked in horror. Edgar waddled lazily over to the other side of the bed and started to lean over her.

"No!" Aidan shouted. He pushed Edgar away and pulled Saige against him. "I…" He looked down at her apologetically; he couldn't believe what he was about to say. "I'll do it…"

Saige made a small noise, but Aidan couldn't tell if it meant relief or revulsion.

Edgar grinned from ear to ear. "There's a good boy."

He turned and walked back out. "Have fun," His voice echoed as he left. Saige fell down onto the bed and took a few deep breaths. Aidan leaned over her, and suddenly realized that his eyes were clouded with tears.

"I'm just going to pretend," He assured her. "I won't touch you."

Saige either wasn't listening or she didn't care. "Just not him," She choked out quietly, "Not him…"

Aidan frowned deeply and nodded.

"What are you waiting for?!" He heard Edgar scream at him.

Aidan did his best to stall.

"I'm not getting a lot of cooperation down here!" He called back. He heard Edgar curse loudly and that shuffle off. In a few minutes he returned with a bottle of small white pills. He gave Aidan two. "This should help." He laughed.

Aidan looked at the two pills now in his hand. "What the hell is this? Viagra?! What is wrong with you?"

Edgar just kept laughed. "Take them," He ordered.

Aidan tried to get away with dropping them in the sheets, but had no luck, and in the end he had to swallow them. Saige just lay there the entire time, stunned into a state of only semi-consciousness. She could see everything going on, but she didn't know what was happening. Before she knew it, Aidan was thrown down on top of her.

"I don't know if…" He broke off there. She knew what he was saying.

"It's okay," She whispered, "If you have to…" She looked away, unable to meet his eyes.

Aidan stared at her for an eternity, unsure of what to do, until he was prompted to act by Edgar banging on the glass mirror.

"Clothes! Off!" Edgar ordered.

Saige was still keeping her eyes inconspicuously off him, so Aidan did as he was told and wriggled out of his shirt and jeans. He felt Saige shiver.

"I'll be gentle," He whispered.

The pills were already taking effect, and Saige could feel him throughout her entire body. He moved down on top of her and she took a deep breath.

You asked for this… She reminded herself. As she took another breath, Aidan suddenly lowered his face to his and pressed his lips against her. Saige gasped and nearly jumped up, but then relaxed as his tongue plunged inside her mouth. He was trying to distract her, and he was doing a damn good job of it.

Just as she opened her mouth to him, he pushed inside of her, causing her to squirm and bite down on his lip. Aidan pulled back, but Saige had squeezed her eyes shut, trying to place herself somewhere else. Even home was better than this.

From inside his room, Edgar watched ecstatically. He could practically feel them, and his body grew warm with the joy of knowing that he had succeeded. He felt himself getting the beginning of an erection, and he pressed his face against the glass, his hot breath leaving a mark of condensation.

"Beautiful…"

Aidan was doing wonderfully, and Saige let him. They were so in love, they just didn't know it yet. Aidan was pumping faster and faster, and Saige bit down on her lip, her eyes still closed. "Almost there…" He chuckled.

Saige chewed on her lip until it bled. She had her eyes closed so she couldn't see what was going on, but she could feel Aidan inside of her. Finally, surprisingly, she felt him spray his seed inside of her, and then a drop of water fell on her face. She opened her eyes slowly, cautiously, and jumped in shock at what she saw.

Aidan had pulled out of her, and was now hunched over her, his body tense and shaking, his eyes dripping tears. She reached up and felt the drop of water on her face; it was his tears. Her lip trembled at the sight; did Aidan really feel so bad about this as well? It was inconceivable that anyone could be so kind, and care about her that much. No one had ever shed tears for her before. Her own eyes began to swell, but she pushed them back. It was almost an instinct now to keep herself from crying.

Without thinking, she put her arms around Aidan's neck and arranged him so that he was sobbing into her shoulder. As she did so, she saw something she'd never noticed before. A patch of hideous scars across the right side of his chest, like the kind left by a very bad burn. She wanted to ask him, but she thought it better to let him let it all out.

"Its okay…" She whispered to him, stroking his hair back, "Its alright. I asked, remember?"

He couldn't answer her. He just started murmuring angrily to himself. Sighing, Saige sank down under the sheets and pulled them around her body. After a few minutes, Aidan calmed as well, and she saw that he was asleep.

She glanced at the mirror, wondering what Edgar was doing right then. Was he happy now that he had broken them both? Was that his intention all along? She didn't want to think about it, so instead she cleared her mind, closed her eyes, and went to sleep.
