Game 3 Power Rankings

BY: Tim Johnson

1. Buffalo Braves(3-0)- This team looks to repeat as champions this year and they have started out on the right foot going 3-0. They have the best bench in the USIBL with Johnson and DeYoung and also have some of the best player's in the league like Kowalczyk and Nolurskin. This team might not stay up here long though as all there games have been to close for comfort, especially their last game against a much weaker Kryp squad.

2. Chicago Lightning- It is to bad to see this team in the same division as the Braves because I am sure it would be a great final if these two matched-up, but that won't happen so the Lightning are going to have to overthrow the champions. Although they don't have as great of a bench as Buffalo it is very strong with Starkey and Brady. They also have arguably the two best scorers in the league in the likes of Stee V. Franchise and Magic Jordan. This team defiantly has a chance to win it all this year.

3. Honolulu Missiles(2-1)- The first West division team in the rankings and they weren't expected to be this high at the beginning of the year, but they are. With Troy Hutson leading the way this team might actually have a chance to be in the playoffs this year. They might not have the firepower of the other teams but something is working right in Honolulu, but no one is quite sure what it is, I think it is team chemistry.

4. St. Louis Crusaders(2-1)- After a heart breaking loss to the String Rays of San Diego in their last game the Crusaders will try to get back on their feet this week vs. the other 2-1 team, the Honolulu Missiles That should be a very good game. They might have the better starting core than the Missiles but they're bench is one of the weakest which does hurt them and that's the reason I think they lost to the Crusaders last game.

5. San Diego Sting Rays(1-2)- They are up here for only one reason, they beat a great team in the St. Louis Crusaders, they will probably fall in the coming weeks, but we will let them live the good live for at least one week. This team doesn't have a lot of power but they're bench is strong and you can play any 5 of those 7 guys and they will preform to a good level, I wish the Sting Rays luck this week vs. the Alaska Freeze.

6. Oklahoma Wranglers(1-2)- After a very tough loss to the Missiles last game by the score of 86-85 the Wranglers will try to rebound this week against the 0-3 New Jersey Kryp. The Wranglers shouldn't take nothing for granted as the Kryp gave the Braves a run earlier this week. The Wranglers defiantly don't have much to work with but do have a win something the Kryp does not, so they will have the mental edge this week.

7. Alaska Freeze(1-2)- Coming off a very good win over the Orlando Warriors the Alaska Freeze look to start a hot streak this week vs. San Diego Sting Rays. JaMichael Harvey should have a great day from the field against the Rays and will rack up the points. The Freeze do have a nice team and are building, the recent departure of Tim Johnson will defiantly help the Freeze in the long run, getting a good pick and Abdul Johnson in the deal.

8. Orlando Warriors(1-2)- Coming of a loss to the Freeze the Warriors face one of the Beasts from the East in the Chicago Lightning, the Warriors do think they can win think game, but I don't as they're center position is weak and as shown many times before you need a good center to win ball games. Good luck to the Warriors this week. They have to hope they're start, Justin Timberlake, play's like a star this week.

9. Harrisburg Grasshoppers(1-2)- Coming off a loss to the Lightning it doesn't get any easier this week for the hoppers against the Braves from Buffalo, the hoppers do have Dave Smith down low with will help them in this game along with Gary Goshleg and T.J. Hunter needing to have big games. If they're is any upside it is that they have a good chance to get their record back after they finish with the 2 beasts as they got them out of the way early.

10. New Jersey Kryp(0-3)- After a heart breaking loss to the Buffalo Braves last week, after leading just about the whole game the Kryp try to earn they're first win this weak against Oklahoma Wranglers. This team isn't short on talent with Domas Jr, SircumalotJr., Kidd leading the way, they just have to win one to get they're minds back and then I think this team will start winning some games.
