What is this website all about ?

Here you will find ideas, opinions and viewpoints which may not coincide with the latest opinion polls or be "politically correct" but which, nevertheless, are sincerely held by some of your neighbors. You may agree or disagree but we hope that these articles at least make you think. Some of the topics are serious and controversial while others are trivial and perhaps even humorous. It is not our goal, however, to amuse or entertain you here. There are plenty of other places on the web, TV, movies etc. to do that. Our intent is to inform, stimulate and motivate you - a daunting task to be sure.

If you are moved to reply to something you read here, you can send your remarks (or vent your rage) via our e-mail link. If your communication contains any valid or interesting points, we may even publish it on this site. Likewise, we will consider any articles (whether or not you wrote them) you might wish to submit for publication on this website. No names please. We don't care if your name is John Jones or Mary Smith. Age, gender, ethnicity, marital status or sexual preference are of no interest to us - only the value of your ideas. Anonymity is the keyword here. Let's use the web as a forum for the intellectual exchange of concepts and opinions unencumbered by personality.

Also, there is no subject "off limits". Don't worry that your ideas might offend some person or some group of persons. We don't. The most popular and prevalent form of modern censorship is cloaked in the concept that an idea should not be expressed because it may be "offensive" to this or that group. Baloney!

Finally, this is a website by and for adults. If the language or subject matter "offends" you, simply "click off". If there are children in your household, it is your reponsibility to see that their internet access is controlled.
