The most common complaint in the industry is: "My banner was only up for ..... and it fell down!" It is very important to realize that banners are hung outside were they can be subjected to many different forces. However, the main reason a banner will fail is improper installation.First, it is VERY important to select the right banner for your conditions. The type of banner, vinyl or polly, D-rings verses grommets are a major considerations when making your selection. THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER WHEN HANGING YOUR BANNER:
- Use strong ropes, bungee, cables, etc.
- Attach and pull the ropes horizontally, NOT DIAGONALLY
- Keep tension on all 4 corners
- If a rope becomes slack go back and tighten it
- Excess flapping will cause the banner to tear and the lettering to de-laminate
