Timothy L. Woods' silver 19th corps badge with a centered gold mounted jewel. It is inscribed T. L. Woods Co. E - Vet. Vols. - Mass - 26th Bat. on the four edges around the centered jewel. Timothy re-enlisted on 1-1-1864 and purchased this corps badge around that time. It is jeweler made and inscribed. The corps badge has a centered jewel which was possibly added by a family member after the War. The jewel does have an edge hairline you can see when you rotate the pin in the light. According to the various databases Timothy was a 40 year old farmer when the War began. He enlisted in Sept. of 1861 and was mustered out on 8/26/1865 in Sav. Ga. He also was known to go by both the names of Timothy Wood and Timothy Woods. $1250
