Pro-Robot thinking at KU

So, I came in and was talking to my sister and half watching cable news. All of a sudden they said that President Bush was campaigning at my college. I whirred around and stared at the screen. Any ex-president would have been amazing news, had they visited KU, but this was the actual president of the fuckin’ US of A.

Immediately I thought of the protests that would be there. I also knew that these protests would be as equally stupid and pointless as the rest of people’s anti-war protests that can be seen around the world.

So, tonight I get on the computer and my friend sends me this link. She also starts complaining that the police wouldn’t let them cross the street, even though they had classes. She said this when I asked her how “Bush had actually made your life terrible.” I guess for someone from Philly not crossing the street constitutes some huge human rights violation or something. Not like the President has a need for escape routes and fear of being assassinated. He’s only the president of the most hated country on the face of the Earth. No biggie then.

They did eventually cross the street, so it’s just a bit of whining typical of my generation.

Anyway, she also took some pictures and I decided to post some and make my own comments. I also left the words she wrote on them, since I’m too lazy to crop them out. I only took the good ones too. From the pictures there didn’t seem to be that many protestors there at all. Just the usual robot punk and hippy (usually kids, but some older geysers too).

“Trees are screaming?” Oh, I get it, another “Bush is pollution” thing. Does anyone care that Bush said certain lands would be logged? I’m all for the environment, but isn’t that sign just outdated? Its like some asshole gives out the protest ideas that these people write on their signs. Hell, these are fucking CARDBOARD SIGNS, you assholes. Some friend of the trees you are.

And "Less Oil More Water?" I didn't know Bush was anti-water. That's a good thing though. Its not like our country's entire economy runs on crude. Plus, if we needed water, who would we invade? Atlantis?

Nice one, too bad it’s a bumper sticker already, asshole. you’d think that these asses could think of something witty and original? Maybe something with a fact instead of a stupid catch phrase or euphemism? Plus, it looks like this ass pirate accidentally wrote "lick" and realized that he's going to an anti-bush rally and not a perv-trip to the lesbain section of San Fran.

At least WWJB (What Would Jesus Bomb) is a first. Too bad the bible condones fighting in a war type of situation as not murder. Otherwise that would have been quite the good idea. So, I guess God is anti-war and pro-Muslim, since these are the two people invoking His name in their fight. At least we ask his assistance. If I was God, I’d smite them with venarial ticks.

I love the whole “daddy Bush” attack thing. Hell, I’d like daddy Bush back in the White House, at least he was a director at the CIA and a vice president. If only he fucked Iraq up some more we wouldn’t be in this whole mess over there. I’ve been calling to finish Iraq since I was in the 8th grade. Those towel heads needed another ass stomping. Not only did we stomp ass, but we gave the Iraqis the ability to stomp their own asses. I call THAT success!

In the end, it seems that Bush will win, no matter the assholes that think their protesting could do anything. The only time protests did anything in the US were the Civil rights days and the Vietnam era. Why? Well, first because EVERYONE was for Civil Rights and against the Vietnam war. Right now, as in the 80’s, there were a whole helluva lot a protests. The media was liberal and “everyone hated” the president. The republican candidate/president held on to land slide victories in two elections and could of pulled off a third if he could. Ronald Reagan knew what he was doing. The only difference was that Reagan could actually make a point and not seem like a donkey turd.

I’m real anti-federal power, I guess that you can call me a Libertarian, even though I do want to rule the world. And no, you dumbass neo-cons, that doesn’t mean liberal as most people *try* to point out to me. These people also couldn’t color in the lines on a blank piece of paper, but that’s not important.

I don’t know why I wrote that last paragraph, but its pretty good so I’ll leave it there.

My point to all this? There may seem like more anti-republican protestors, but most people are republican. The why aren’t there anymore moderate and right-wing protestors? Well, because they all have jobs.
