Don't cram it down my throat, cram it up your ass

So in my class today (the 30th) we are talking about something regarding other cultures. Well, they were, I was sketching. In any case, about half way through the class our teacher brings up the recent event that was sponsored by the Diversity part of the Administration here at KU. She asks me if I had interested in the prospect of going to the Diversity Fest that centered on Africa. I informed her that I wasn’t and probably would never attend one of those things.

Then, this black kid in the front row starts making comments aimed at me that I am racist for not wanting to go to the shit show and that people need to learn about cultures. He then goes into a speil about black solidarity and spits out all kinds of cliché arguments that everyone has heard before. Wrong answers, asshole. Even the teacher was looking for a shotgun to end his worthless spewing.

I’m so fucking sick and tired of being blamed by every fucking minority that “my people” oppressed him and that we need to pay for our atrocities and other such bullshit like that. That whole line of argument is bullshit against me. It seems that in this day and age, everything is the “white man’s” fault. Fuck that, I never oppressed any African-Americans. I’m not at fault for any of it. But what do I get when I say that? “Oh man, that’s being racist.” No, it’s being informed, dumbshit.

First, my people never had African Slaves. We enslaved Russian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern peoples. That’s right, bitch, I have Hun and Mongol blood in me. Even my German blood has no taint in it. My ancestors weren’t here until the 1910’s. We had no part in the enslaving of the American Black man. So take that argument and shove it up your ass.

Second, I’m not a racist for not wanting to go to some diversity-fest. I’m sorry, but I’m not going to learn about a culture that pisses in it’s own drinking water still and commits genocide on a regular basis. Nothing about Africa intrigues me except the animals. Add some Lions into the show and maybe I’ll pay attention. African culture is about as interesting to me as Western European culture is you African-American people. Last time I checked, there wasn’t a big black audience at the Scandinavian Fest. Oh, I forgot that it doesn’t count as diversity unless it’s revolving around minority groups. You can’t be diverse and find out about anything related to Caucasian-Americans, that’s racism. Hell, I don’t even care about MY diversity fests. At least Eastern Europe doesn’t still have slavery.

That’s right… a little known fact that the liberals and black minority groups don’t want everyone to know is that Africa still has countries in it that endorse slavery. Even back then when slave traders went to pick up loads of slaves to bring to America, guess whom they bought them from? The same race that was being sold. It’s a nasty, but true fact. And one a lot of people don’t want you to know about. So take that “Black Unity” crap and cram that too.

I’m not a racist, I have African-American students here that I consider good friends. I’m all for equal rights and everything that black people should enjoy. But when someone get in my face about the subject (I say “someone” because more whites seem to get in your face about it than blacks), it pisses me off. I don’t go around shoving my Straightedge beliefs down your throat, so stop jamming them down mine. You’re not helping the cause, your just pissing off more people.

Racism isn’t a thing that you can make people do. It’s not a thing that you can kill in a couple weeks. Only a scant few decades ago segregation was a big part of our society and you think that you can kill it in a decade? Some parts of this country won’t even let things like the loss Civil War go and you expect it to be nice and happy were everyone loves everyone else? Yeah right. You can only keep educating new generations about being tolerant towards other races and hope for the best. Forcing people to do something never worked.
