Lascala (MON) and Parmelee (GB) win P.O.W. award
It's the 1st time that the Western Hemisphere Player
of the Week award goes to Montreal's catcher Fat Sal
Lascala. In 33 at bats he hit .394 with 4 HR and 22
RBI. Fat Sal managed to drive in at least one run in
every game he played this week. Lascala has hit for
a .362 average this season. He has 12 extra base hits
along with 103 total bases, resulting in a .526 slugging
percentage. He's 3rd in the Western Hemisphere in batting,
4th in homeruns and 4th in RBI! The Player of the Week
award in the Eastern Hemisphere goes to Great Britain's
Dustin Parmelee this time, as the pitcher displayed
the best pitching perfomance in his league. He was
in a zone all week, compiling an ERA of 1.99 while
going 3-0. A complete game added to his brilliant performance.
Opposing players hit .197 against Dustin this season.
While posting an ERA of 1.82 he went 12-0 in 14 starts,
fanning 185 and walking 5 hitters. Dustin has pitched
one shutout and 3 complete games. He's 1st in the Eastern
Hemisphere in ERA and 1st in wins!
Pitching Requirement
Since most teams only have 4 or 5 pitchers, I think the game is getting other players to pitch who arent pitchers. Well in order to fix that, each team will have to add more pitchers to the staff. So ill need 8 pitchers total up in the bigs, and 4 in the starting rotation. You have until Saturday to comply with these rules. Or ill do them for you.
