Barbie took a leave of absence from her Airline duties, and worked as a Nurse helping the wounded soldiers in Iraq. 

She has returned home to make a special appearance here on ebay!

Barbie is modeling the Sweet Dreams nightie & is holding the Diary & the metal clock (no feet on clock) and the apple is at her feet (some color loss/rubs to apple) and is wearing the pale blue OT heels (poms missing but little holes are there for them), the elastic waist on the panty is stretched but panty is in good shape & will stay up.  Included are  extra tops to the sweet dreams set.  I think this is the complete set.  stand is not included.

vintage American Airlines

American Airlines Stewardess #984
Barbie® doll’s career took flight when she became a stewardess with American Airlines in 1961. A smart authentic fitted suit in navy blue featured a trim gored jacket with silver metal wings and four button closure. The sheath skirt topped a sheer white nylon body blouse with collar and three-button front. Barbie® doll’s matching hat featured the American Airlines insignia in silver metal. Her zippered navy flight bag featured “American Airlines” and the insignia in white. Finishing touches included a black plastic shoulder bag  

matching open-toe pumps not included.
