What do I get for my $36,900?

A complete rolling chassis with the body painted in the color of your choice, selected from a list of our standard colors.

Any of these colors can be ordered without stripes.
Custom colors (P.P.G. paint code must be provided) by special order.

What parts are included with the basic roller?

The basic kit (See photo at right) consists of the following:

  • Small parts package
  • Coil bracket
  • Clutch adapter fitting
  • Engine mount hardware (2)
  • Headlight assemblies & hardware (2)
  • Front & rear directional indicators & hardware
  • Racing seat belt assemblies (2)
  • 4-tube exhaust headers, side pipes, gaskets and vibration proof mounts
  • Gear level knob, boot & ring
  • Exhaust warning label
  • Throttle linkage
  • Form fitted radiator hoses (3) & clamps
  • Radiator hose extensions (2)
  • #10 AN oil lines (10 ft) & fittings (4)
  • Front & rear drop in disc brake pads
  • Rear disc emergency brake assemblies (2)
  • Side and dash board rear view mirrors
  • Door opening straps (2)
  • Angled speedometer drive
  • Wheel centre caps (4)

What engine & transmission can I put in my roller?

The roller is set up to accept a small block or big block Ford V8 engine. You select which engine you like and the roller will come with the installation kit for that engine.

What does Grassroots Motorsports magazine say about the MK III?

The Superformance car isn't the least expensive Cobra-type available, but we found the fit and finish comparable to any production car sold today. "It felt like it was a $50,000 Cobra and not a $15,000 Cobra," one of our testers commented.

What does Grassroots Motorsports magazine say about the S1?

Of all the Seven-like cars we have driven, this is the one we could see for sale through normal, mass-market channels. It may not offer Formular Atlantic performance, but it is the most civilized. Of course civilized doesn't mean slow, as it will run the quarter-mile in about 14.5 seconds - about as quick as a Porsche Boxster S.
