FAQ's About Me...(Accompanied by my FAR's...Frequently Answered Responses)

Factoids About Me

  1. How old are you?
I am 26 (as of 10/15/00...feel free to say "Happy Birthday").

  2. Why are you interested in politics and current events?
I received my BA in political science from Rutgers University (If you have to ask, "What's a Rutger?" then just forget I mentioned it! And I am not to be held liable for the state of their sports program.). Also, I was elected to the Piscataway Board of Education at the age of 19 (This was less of a political experience and more of a psychological experiment gone awry!). But most of all, my interest comes from my firm belief that we all must be active and involved citizens by staying informed, voting, and voicing our opinions in a constructive manner.

  3. What is your goal for this site?
I hope that this site can serve as a forum to discuss issues that affect all of us. Sometimes you might want to challenge someone's statements. Sometimes you might just want to vent about an issue that really gets your blood boiling. Some issues will be gravely serious, others will be more fun and light. Either way, let's talk about it.

  4. What's your most embarrassing moment?
There are so many I don't know where to begin. For those of you who are old enough to remember the movie A Christmas Story one young lad got his tongue stuck to the flagpole. Well way before that movie ever came out I once stuck my tongue to the ice box and I couldn't even yell intelligibly for help. Needless to say I ended up yanking my tongue away...OUCH!

  5. What is(are) your favorite food(s)?
Again, where do I begin? I like Italian, Mexican, Cajun, Creole, Southern Cuisine, Chinese, and your standard American dishes (ie.cheeseburgers, macaroni and cheese, etc.). The key is to keep it simple. I hate "ritzy", fancy foods that I can't even describe what it is I'm supposed to eat. Save your pheasant with Grey Poupon with alfalfa sprouts on the side and just give me a damn steak.

  6. What type of music do you listen to?
As a former DJ, my musical taste is best described as "eclectic". I love any kind of dance music or music that conveys a message. My tastes range from hip-hop to disco to pop to classic house to trance. Anything to get me dancing or thinking. My favorite artists are Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Notorious B.I.G., KC and the Sunshine Band, the Bee Gees,(I warned you that this was a weird mix) Jay-Z, Crystal Watters, Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley, and Everlast and the House of Pain(R.I.P.).

  7. What's your favorite city?
Without a doubt, New York City. There is something for everyone and it's a great escape from the daily grind.
