                                                                                                                            Hello, my name is Daphne. Don't hate me because I 'm beautiful. I am four years young, the only girl-cat in the house and yes, a Tortie.Tortie is short for Tortishell.Some might call us temperamental. Ha! We're not temperamental we just don't like associating with our lessers. I personally am a Diva. My two preposterous brothers can eat cake for all I care. One doesn't expect a true Diva to lower herself by  mixing with the riff-raff or the plebs, n'est pas? One might call my attitude snobbish but one must realize: It's a Tortie thing

   My likes: my water fountain( bought just for me, of course), turkey, cool weather, belly rubs, being worshipped, going outside.

        My dislikes: sharing a tease, my little brother Bits, not being allowed outside, hot weather, noise, not getting my rightful attention.

My littermate Frasier and I were adopted from a shelter called Noah's Ark.

There were eight kittens in the litter and Frasier and I were the last to be adopted.

Can you believe that? How could anyone in their right mind pass ME up?

My dopey brother Frasier has short hair and is all black. Ugh! How pedestrian. My other brother Bits is a real common type: a black and white cat. Boring!

It's such a pity one cannot choose one's relatives.

I like to play...sometimes. Mostly I like to sleep or just hang out in my kitty condo...or the window sill ...or a box ...or a bed.

It's a tough life

This photo on the right shows me and my annoying little brother Bits in a rare situation: I am actually permitting him to sleep next to me. He, naturally adores me and wants to be with me and even play with me. At times I have had to resort to a well placed claw in the head to get rid of him. What a pest!

I am a Diva of many moods....

I can be coy.....

             I can be petulant.....



I can even be whimsical !

Am I not just the cutest thing on God's green Earth??

Well, that's all for now. I know, I know you want more photos of me but you know the old saying, "Too much of a good thing...."Anyway, check back soon for new pictures. I do so want to be responsive to my adoring public.
