"So Cara, what do you say?" Julia asked.
"I love you all!" I started crying. "Thank you so much."
AJ rushed forward and gave me a huge hug and kiss. "Happy birthday baby. You really thought we wouldn't come and see you?"
I nodded and wiped away my tears. "What about the concert?"
AJ grinned. "Postponed it."
"Who planned this?"
"Us guys and Charisma," AJ said proudly. "But Julia helped a lot too."
"Thank you AJ. You wanna come with me while I mingle?" I asked.
"Of course." AJ and I walked around and greeted the guests. When I saw Charisma, we both screamed.
"RIS!!!! I missed you so much!" I ran to give her a hug. "Thanks so much for planning this!"
Charisma smiled. "Not a problem. Hey, you have your necklace on!"
I nodded. "I love my necklace, I never take it off. Not even at photo shoots. Hey, where's Brian?"
"Right here." I whirled around and saw Brian standing behind me with my parents. "Happy birthday Shorty!"
I gave Brian and my parents a hug. "Thanks guys."
"What kind of brother would I be if I didn't see my lil sis on her b-day?" Brian asked.
"A bad one."
I walked around and talked to more of my friends and family. There weren't that many people, but I didn't care. Just as long as I got to see the guys, Charisma, and my parents.
A Little While Later
"I guess you guys have to go now," I said with a sigh. It was around midnight and Julia had informed me that I had a lot to do tomorrow, as usual. Most people had already left, including my parents. Now only Charisma and the guys were left.
AJ nodded. "Yeah." He gave me a kiss. "I'm sorry we couldn't stay longer, but we have to catch the flight to New York."
I nodded. "It's okay AJ, I totally understand. Do you have to go too Charisma?"
"Yeah, I'm going to New York with Nick." Charisma smiled shyly at him.
"Ooh, let me guess what you guys are gonna do?" Howie teased.
Nick blushed. "Shut up Howie."
Kevin stepped forward and gave me a hug. "It was great seeing you again Car. Take care of yourself."
"I will Kevin." I got a hug from the rest of the guys and Charisma and then they left.
"You ready to go home?" Julia asked. She had in her hands two big bags of presents.
"Yeah," I answered sadly. Modeling was such hard work. Not only because of the grueling hours, but because you're so far away from everyone and everything you love. I sighed as we walked out of the restaurant. I guessed this was something I was going to have to learn to live with.
