The story of a marriage of convenience where the two participants fall in love is an old one, but when given a twist or two, like the bride falling in love with the local minister, and the groom so far buried in his wall of hurt and pride that he can't reach out... and you have a recipe for intrigue that cannot be beat!Given this particular vehicle to showcase their talents, Roger Howarth (Todd) and Florencia Lozano (Téa) shone as they made what could have very well been a dry, old story and turned it into something "magical".
Who would have thought Todd could ever love and trust again after Blair (Kassie DePaiva) broke his heart for good?
Téa melted the iceman just by being strong, yet soft towards him, not allowing all his hurtful ways to get the better of her and, most of all, by being his "equal"... a concept foreign to narrow-minded Todd, who liked to dominate everyone he came in contact with.
Anyway, isn't it fun to love the bad guy the best anyway? It makes life a little spicier!
