One Life to Live fans have been vocal since Roger Howarth's return last year about their desire to see Florencia Lozano return and to witness a Todd and Tea reunion, as well as see Téa resume her relationships with other characters in Llanview. Here's a sampling of the fans' comments and their desires, as documented in several respected soap opera publications.

Soap Opera Digest Public Opinion, October 23, 2001
*Make my sweeps, ONE LIFE TO LIVE - I dare you. Listen to the fans, who for the past year have asked for the return of Téa Delgado. It would cause turmoil in several stories, sure, but isn’t that what daytime is about? Think of the tension and angst-filled reunion between Todd and Téa. Think of how happy Carlotta would be. What could be a better sweeps story than Téa returning to Llanview? There are so many angles. So, go ahead, Mr. [Gary] Tomlin [executive producer]. I beg you: Make my sweeps and bring back Téa. ~J.M. Soap Opera Weekly Mail Call, October 9, 2001
*Still on top of readers’ discussion list: the interview we did with One Life to Live executive producer, Gary Tomlin in our Sept 18 issue. Not surprisingly, fans are not happy that Tomlin sees no need to bring back Florencia Lozano as Téa..."Writers are paid to write, they say, and story can be written for anyone if a writer really wants to do so." *

Soap Opera Digest Sound Off, October 9, 2001
*I see couples on One Life to Live with so much potential, and it amazes me that [Executive Producer] Gary Tomlin continues to stick with stories that aren’t working. To me, the couple with the most potential is Blair and Max. These two have such history, and the addition of Gabrielle has made for an interesting triangle. Lindsay and Sam have a ton of potential - Laurence Lau and Catherine Hickland have great chemistry. A return I would still love to see is Téa Delgado. The untapped potential of the Todd and Téa pairing is unbelievable and should be an executive producer’s dream.* ~ J.R., New York, NY

*OLTL'ers continue to clamor for the return of Llanview's favorite Latina, Tea.*

Soap Opera Weekly Viewer's Voice, September 18, 2001
Which actor would you like to see back on daytime?
39% Kimberly McCullough as Robin on GH
36% thought Florencia Lozano as Téa on One Life to Live “would be a breath of fresh air to Llanview”
25% are hoping GH sees the returns of Jonathan Jackson as Lucky, Vanessa Marcil as Brenda, or Steve Burton as Jason.

*...while others want Téa back in Llanview...*

Soap Opera Weekly, Public Opinion Letters, September 4, 2001
*I keep reading about all these new roles being cast on One Life to Live, and I have to wonder: Where are the fan favorites we have been asking for? Whenever I read the soap magazines, I read about fans asking for Téa Delgado’s and Dorian Lord Hayes’ returns. But it seems instead of listening to the fans and giving them what they want, OLTL is determined to force new characters on its audience. I don’t mind a new character here and there, as long as it’s balanced with old favorites, and Dorian and Téa are just that. If OLTL is going to bring on a barrage of new faces, the least they can do is give their fans the actors they’ve been asking for. - Jane R., New York.*

Soap Opera Digest Mailbag, July 17, 2001
*"....many OLTL viewers are clamoring for Florencia Lozano (ex-Téa Delgado) to return...*

Soap Opera Digest Mailbag, May 8, 2001
*OLTL fans continue looking for ways to get Téa back to Llanview. 'With Roseanne potentially in some trouble, what a good time to bring back legal-eagle Auntie Téa.*

Soap Opera Weekly Mail Call, February 20, 2001
*It keeps happening. Everytime we open the mail here at Soap Opera Weekly, two couples get more missives than anyone else. Fans of OLTL’s Todd refuse to accept him with Blair, or anyone other than Téa Delgado. Viewers are still clamoring for Florencia Lozano to return to the role she left last year.*

"Boy, does Todd need his Delgado," writes Deb J. of New York. "Blair will never put his needs before her own. Téa always did, and that's what Todd needs right now; a woman who truly loves him and wants him to get better. Please, ABC, get Florencia Lozano back." Stephanie M. of Pennsylvannia writes, "Todd and Téa are a true, once-in-a-lifetime couple. They deal with real issues, real emotions, real love. Their lasting impression on their fans who continue to write in about them is a testament to the impact their story and the actors' tremendous chemistry."

Soap Opera Digest Fan Comeback Wishlists, February 13, 2001
*Florencia Lozano's fans think her Téa should return to LIFE in Llanview.*

Soap Opera Digest Mailbag, December 12, 2000
*Devoted fans of Florencia Lozano (ex-Téa) are optimistic that their favorite heroine will come back to One Life to Live. 'Can the frequent mentions of Téa on One Life mean that she will be returning to Llanview?' asked one. 'I sure hope so.'" *

Soap Opera Digest Mailbag, August 15, 2000
*Many ONE LIFE TO LIVE viewers continue to clamor for a Todd and Téa reunion.*

Soap Opera Weekly Public Opinion Letters, August 15, 2000
*Enough with the insta romance stuff. It won't work with Todd Manning. Let's not forget who he is. The only 'romantic' relationship that makes any sense for Todd right now is for Téa to return. She is the one he loves.

Again I must ask, is Florencia Lozano being pursued for a return? Nobody will answer that simple question. Why not? Who cares if she said no to a return two months ago, last week, 4 PM yesterday? Things change, plans change, attitudes change, bank accounts change. Howarth's continued returns to OLTL are a a shining example of how things change.

Convince Lozano to change her mind, to return as Téa, and to shake up Llanview with TNT3.*

Soap Opera Weekly Mail Call, August 1, 2000
*Obviously some shows get more mail than others, but every show has fans putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboards) about something:

OLTL: Now that Todd is back, fans won't give up on getting Téa back in Llanview with him" *

Soap Opera Weekly Public Opinion Letters, June 13, 2000
*I was very happy to hear of Roger Howarth's return to One Life To Live. He is an extremely gifted actor, and Todd has been sorely missed. As glad as I will be to see him again, I am concerned as to how Todd will be written this time around.

I have no desire to see Todd as a one-note villain, nor do I care to see him as fully functional. Todd is a shades-of-gray character, not good, but not pure malice either. Howarth is masterful at showing Todd's struggle to find basic humanity. His best work demonstrating this was while paired with Florencia Lozano's Téa. She is Howarth's acting equal. Their styles meshed, and they brought out the very best in each other. Acting was taken to an entirely different level when they brought their characters to life together.

Todd and Téa are just as compatible: two lost souls seeking acceptance, comfort and unconditional love, and finding that with each other. I hope and pray the powers that be are doing whatever they can to get Lozano back, and correct the mistake that was made in letting such a talented actress slip away in the first place. There is a lot more to be told in Todd and Téa's story, both separately and together. They left town in March after more than a year apart, after acknowledging that they were born to be together. There is nothing that convince this viewer that Todd would willingly come back and stay in Llanview without Téa. Even if they did split, Todd would never give up on Téa, just as I hope the powers that be won't give up on bringing Lozano and Téa home to Llanview.*

Soap Opera Weekly Mail Call, June 13, 2000
*No contest: OLTL ruled the mail this week, thanks to the news that Roger Howarth will reprise the roll of Todd Manning. Obviously, Todd fans are ecstatic, but they have a major concern: Where is Téa?

"ABC Daytime should do everything in its power to bring back Florencia Lozano. We're talking supercouple here," Mary Catherine W. writes via e-mail.

"The idea of Todd Manning returning without his soul mate, Téa Delgado, is unbelievable," Jules H. of New York says. "After those beautiful scenes in Viki's cabin in March, they have to be together." Kathy S. adds, "Please, ABC, go all the way and get back the couple who made all of your top 5 polls while they were onscreen, and have continued to top them while offscreen. It makes no sense that ABC would not cash in on such gold!" Melissa A. of Maine wants to make a deal with ABC: "If OLTL brings back Lozano's Téa for Howarth's Todd, I promise to never again fast-forward through Ben and Blondie scenes. Oh, heck, I'll even watch Rae and John scenes, if that will seal the deal, OK?"* *
