AJ walked into his room to find it a mess.
"BRIAN! Get you tiney, whiney, hiney in my room now." AJ screamed at the top of his lungs.
Brian came running up the stairs.
"Can I help you?" he said. "What happened to my room?" "I was looking for a pack of gum." "Why didn't you go to the store and buy one?" "Cause I don't want to."
AJ sighed.
"What's the matter?" Brian asked. "I've just realized I'm not over Stephanie." "Yeah but now your with her best friend, Amanda." "But I want Stephanie. "Then dump Amanda." "I don't want to hurt her and I still have feelings for her but they aren't like the ones that I have for Stephanie." "Then I don't know what to tell ya." "I need to be alone." "Ok."
Brian went back downstairs and found a piece of paper that had Stephanie's number written on it, on the kitchen table. He took the paper and walked over to the phone and dialed the number.
"Hello?" a girl said. "Is Stephanie there?" Brian asked. "This is her. Who's this?" "Um. It's Brian. AJ's friend." "Oh. Hey. Wassup?" "AJ's kind-of down right now. Could you come over?" "Ok. I guess. Why didn't you ask Amanda?" "Because, um, promise you won't say anything to AJ or Amanda?" "Yeah. I promise." "Because AJ wants you. He still has feelings for you." "Yeah. I'll be over in a few minutes." "Ok. When you get here, don't ring the doorbell. I want you to surprise him." "Ok. See ya in a few minutes." "Later."
Stephanie hung up the phone and then got her shoes on. When she was about to leave, Amanda asked her, "Where are you going?" "To a friends." "Again?" "Yeah." "Ok. Bye." "Later."
A couple minutes later, she was at AJ and Brian's front door. She knocked on the door like Brian told her to do. He came to the door a few seconds after she knocked.
"Hey." he said. "Hi." "He's going to be really happy to see you. Come on in. I'll show you to his room." "Ok."
Stephanie followed Brian up the stairs and down the hall to a room with a closed door. Brian put his finger on his lips as to tell Stephanie to be quiet. Stephanie nodded and Brian knocked on the door.
"Bri, Please go away." AJ said from behind the closed door. "Can I come in for a minute? I have something to show you." "Ok but hurry up."
Brian opened the door and Stephanie walked into the room. Brian then shut the door and went down the hall to his room.
"Steph, What are you doing here?" AJ asked. "I got bored so I decided to come and visit you. If you want me to leave, I will." "No. Stay." "Ok."
AJ layed back down on his bed and Stephanie layed down on her stomach next to him. They talked for hours and then they both fell asleep. Brian came down the hall after awhile and found both AJ and Stephanie asleep. He put a blanket over them and then turned out the light. Then he went to bed.
