(Recap: Everybody is at the skating place and Brian and Stephanie are going out. Stephanie had just gotten a phone call and nobody knows who it is from yet.)
Everybody skated over to where Nick, Brian, and Stephanie were standing.
"What's the matter?" AJ asked.
Brian and Nick both shrugged their shoulders in response.
"Are you serious?" Stephanie asked the person on the phone. "Are you sure it's her?...No. It can't be."
Tears started running down her cheeks.
"Honey, What's the matter?" Brian asked. "Yes. I'm coming." Stephanie said to the person on the phone.
Stephanie hung up the phone. Then she collasped to the ground and started crying. Brian kneeled down beside her and tried to comfort her but she kept pushing him away. AJ and Nick also kneeled down and tried to help but she wouldn't let anybody near her.
"What happened?" Brian kept asking her. "It's all my fault." she finally managed to get out. "What's all your fault?" "Amanda got into a car accident and they don't think she's going to live." "How is it your fault?" "Because I shouldn't have let her hng out with her new friends. It's all my fault." "You didn't know that this was going to happen."
Stephanie started crying really hard again.
"It's not your fault.. Stop blaming yourself." Brian said to her. Howie and Kevin stood there not knowing what else to do and Lauren was standing there with her arms folded in front of her chest and tapping her foot.
"Ok. Is this little scene over with now? Can I go back with my boyfriend?" Lauren said.
Everybody looked at her and all shouted, except for Stephanie, "Shut-up!"
Lauren got all mad and took off in the other direction and sat across the room.
Stephanie took off her skates and went outside. She stopped a cab and then went to the hospital.
"Are you Stephanie?" a short lady asked when Stephanie walked through the door. "Yeah." "Follow me, please."
Stephanie followed the lady to a small room at the end of the hall. Stephanie went in and the doctor was in with Amanda.
"Your Stephanie. Am I right?" the doctor asked. "Yes." "I'm Dr. Peters." "How is she?" "Well, she's unconsious and we're hoping that she doesn't go into a coma but from how everything is going she is probably going to go into one." "What actually happened?" "We aren't actually sure. All we know is that she was with 3, 4 other people. She's the worst out of all of them. The rest are just suffering from some broken bones."
Stephanie started crying again.
"Are you going to be alright?" the doctor asked her. "Yeah. I think so." "Ok. I'll be back in a little bit." "Ok."
Stephanie sat down on the chair and stared out the window. A couple minutes later, the door opened and the nurse walked in.
"There's somebody here to see you." she said. "Ok."
Stephanie got up and walked out to the waiting room. Brian and the rest of the guys were there. Stephanie ran right over to Brian and he wrapped her up in a bear hug.
"I'm sorry." Stephanie said.
Brian ran his fingers through her hair and said, "It's ok. I probably would have been the same way."
Stephanie smiled and they finally separated from each other. She looked at AJ who was sitting with Lauren.
"Why did he bring her?" Stephanie asked. "She insisted that he did." Nick answered. "Oh." "Why don't we bring you home? You need some rest." Brian said.
Stephanie thought for a minute and then said, "Alright."
The guys brought Stephanie home and Nick and Brian stayed with her so that she wouldn't be lonley.
