Stephanie finished going upstairs to her room. When she got there, she sat down on the bed and picked up the phone. She dialed the number.
"Hello?" "Dave?" "Yeah?" "It's Stephanie. You called?" "Yeah. You have an interview on MTV on Friday on that show called Total Request Live." "Yeah, I know. Kate told me." "Also, the people from Dimension Films want you to be the lead in their new movie. It's called Secert Admirers. It's going to be shot in the Bahamas and they need to know in a hour if your going to do it. So are you?" "Yeah. When do we leave?" "Next Thursday." "Ok. Well, give me a call if you find out anything else." "Will do." "Alright. Bye." "Bye."
She hung up the phone and her beeper went off. She looked at it and it was Brian. She picked the phone back up and dialed the number.
"Hello?" "Hey, Kate. It's Steph. Can I talk to Bri?" "Hold on." "Ok."
Stephanie could hear Katelyn calling Brian in the background.
"Hello?" "Hey, Bri. Did you beep me?" "Yeah. I have a message for AJ." "Do you want to talk to him?" "No. Could you just tell him?" "Sure." "Ok. Tell him that we have a interview with MTV on Friday." "Alright." "Thanks." "Welcome. I gotta go now." "Ok. Bye." "Bye."
Stephanie hung up the phone and then she went downstairs and back outside where AJ and Amanda were sitting.
"Hey. What took you so long?" AJ asked as Stephanie sat back down on his lap. "Kate called. Then I had to call my agent. Then Bri beeped me and I had to call him and he told me to tell you that you have an interview with MTV on Friday." "What did your agent want?" "To tell me that I also have a interview with MTV on Friday and about another movie that he wanted me to do." "Are you going to do it?" "Yeah." "Where are you going this time?" "Bahamas and I'm leaving a week from Thursday." "Is Katelyn going with you?" "She didn't metion anything but she did seem mad at me." "Why?" "Who knows."
AJ shook his head and Amanda smiled.
"Hey. I saw that." Stephanie said. "Saw what? I didn't do anything. But if I did, how could you have seen what I did? Your facing the other way." "I'm very talented." "Sure." "Hey."
They hung out for awhile and then it started to get late so they decided to go to bed. As AJ, Amanda, and Stephanie were walking through the living room, Stephanie's mom looked up from talking with her guests and asked, "Where are you guys going?"
"Mom, we are going to bed." Amanda said. "Why it's still early? It's only 10." "Mom, where we're from, it's already 1 so we are kind-of tired."
They started walking away and when they were at the bottom of the stairs, Stephanie's mom asked, "Steph. Is AJ your boyfriend?"
Stephanie looked at AJ and then back at her mom and said, "Yeah. Sort-of." "What do you mean?" "Can we talk about it in the morning?" "No. Tell me." "Me and AJ are getting married." "Why didn't you tell me earlier?" "I tried to but you walked away and then I couldn't find you."
Stephanie's mom walked over to them.
"Honey. That's great." she said as she gave Stephanie a hug.
Then she gave AJ a hug.
"What's so great?" Stephanie's father asked as he walked through the doorway. He came over and stood next to Stephanie's mom.
"Stephanie's getting married to AJ." "Who's AJ?" "Daddy!" Stephanie whined. "I'm just kidding. That's great honey." he said as he gave his daughter a hug.
Then he shook AJ's hand.
"Sorry to interrupt and be rude but can we go to bed?" Amanda asked. "Sure. Go ahead. We'll talk about this tomorrow."
Then Stephanie, Amanda, and AJ ran upstairs before they got stopped for another endless conversation. Amanda went in her room while Stephanie and AJ went to Stephanie's room. A couple of minutes later, Amanda and Justin came in the room.
"We're camping with you guys tonight." Amanda said. "Why?" Stephanie asked. "Because I have old people in my room and Justin has a bunch of kids in his." "Did you check the guestrooms?" "Yes." "Fine."
Amanda and Justin put some blankets on the floor. Then they went to bed. Then AJ and Stephanie went to bed.
