Stephanie was about to turn off the light when AJ said, "Can't you forgive me? I promise I'll try not to hurt you again."
Stephanie didn't say anything. Brian, who was leaning on his hand trying not to fall asleep, sat straight up.
"I guess so but..." Stephanie said. "I knew there was a catch." "But if you hurt me again, we are done." "I guess that's fair." "Now that we have this settled, I'm going to bed." Brian said as he stood up.
Then him and AJ walked out to go to bed. Stephanie turned off the light and went to sleep.
