He found her outside sitting on the curb.
"Your going to ruin your dress that way." he said. "Why are you out here? The people you care about are inside." "I'm not going to lie to you. Yeah, I care about them but the person I care about the most is sitting right in front of me." "Do you really mean that?" "Yes. Why else would I ask you to marry me?" AJ said while walking over to Stephanie. "I don't know." Stephanie said as she stood up.
AJ saw that she was shivering so he took off his jacket and put it on her.
"Come on. Let's go back inside." he said. "Ok."
They got back inside and Katie said, "Oh. Look. The princess decided to come back in."
"Katie, Just remember, the only reason your here is because I invited you. I could always change my mind." Stephanie said.
Then she noticed Nick sitting alone. She let go of AJ's hand and walked over to him.
"Hey, Nicky. What's the matter?" "Nothing and you know I don't like that name." "Oh. Come on. I think it's cute." "Alright but only you can call me that." "Ok. Why don't you come over by the rest of the group?" "No, I'm going to stay here." "Ok."
Stephanie walked over to where Brian was standing.
"Could you go talk to Nick? He seems really down about something." "Sure."
Brian walked over to Nick and Stephanie went over to where AJ was.
"Hey, Babe. What's up with Nick?" AJ asked Stephanie. "He won't tell me so Brian's going over to talk to him." "Oh, ok."
"Hey, Nick. What's the matter?" Brian said while sitting down next to him. "Nothing." "You can tell me." "I like Stephanie." Nick said while watching Stephanie and AJ hugging across the room. "I don't know what to say." "And now she's going to marry AJ." "They love each other." "I know but still it's hard." "Just be happy for them and be a great friend to them. That's all you can really do." "Alright. Are they ever going to let go? They have been over there hugging for like 5 minutes." "I don't know but let's go over there before they start making out again." "Ok."

"I don't want to let go." Stephanie said. "Then don't."
Then Stephanie's phone started ringing. Stephanie sighed.
"I guess I have to now." she said.
