My older brother, Kevin, is in the music band "The Backstreet Boys." So I hardly ever see him because of his tours. Although he is taking off the summer to spend with me. He has been like a dad to me since my mother and father were killed five years ago. I did have a choice: I could live with my Aunt Andrea and Aunt Silvana but I wanted to live with my older brother and sister. That is the reason why I live on this island with my siblings.
My older sister Leann, twenty-six, is my best friend. She looks out for me and helps me like a mother would with a friend twist. Leann's boyfriend Howie is another "Backstreet Boy" with my brother. Kevin did get upset because his little sister Leann was dating one of his best friends who always acts like a flirt but he grew out of it when he saw how much they loved each other.
My other best friend Steph is eight teen and is one year older than me. She is my next door neighbor and that is one small reason why we are really good friends. Another reason is she is Brian's sister and Brian is Kevin's cousin which makes us all family and cousins. That is the reason why Kevin even bought this house in Dellville Island so he could be around his family and best friends from "Backstreet Boys." Oh yeah, Brian is also a "Backstreet Boy" and Brian is the main reason why my brother Kevin is in "The Backstreet Boys."
My other best friend Amanda, we all call her Mandee, is nineteen. She lives across the street from me. Steph introduced me and her. Mandee is dating Kyle's Brother AJ, another "Backstreet Boy." Steph is dating Kyle to make AJ jealous because she has had the biggest crush on AJ for six years but was too scared to ask him out. So Mandee did ask him out not knowing that Steph had a crush on him. Steph never told AJ or Mandee because she did not want to destroy their friendships and relationships. I have had a crush on Mandee's brother, Nick, another "Backstreet Boy" since I was fourteen and he was sixteen.
This is my last year in high school but Mandee's and Steph's first year of collage. We have only this summer and then my too best friends are moving to New York, for collage. I will really miss them a lot, a real lot. Two weeks ago on the last day of school my boyfriend dumped me. I was heartbroken for days, because we were going out for five years since I moved here when I was thirteen. I'll get over him soon I hope.
