Brian was sitting in the chair trying to understand what just happened.
"What should I do?" AJ asked. "I have no idea. Wait. What about?" Brian asked.
"I hurt everybody but you, I think. Stephanie doesn't want to talk to me and I want her back. Sarah doesn't want to talk to me. I didn't mean it the way it came out. I just feel really weird about her and Nick going out and Nick doesn't want to talk to me either. I bet I hurt him like when Stephanie dumped him. I don't know what to do."
Brian looked at him, weirdly.
"I have no idea what to tell you because I'm totally confused." "Thanks anyway." "I guess I'm going to go home and think about everything." "Ok. I'll see ya tomorrow then. Call me if you need anything." "Ok."
AJ left and went home.
~*With Stephanie*~
Stephanie was up in her room crying her eyes out and wondering why AJ was acting the way he did.
'Everything was going great. What happened?" she thought to herself.
~*At AJ's House*~
He walked in and Sarah was sitting on the couch watching TV.
"Hey. Can we talk?" he asked. "Why? You already ruined my life enough. I just want to go home." she said.
"Look. I'm really sorry. I don't want you to go home. I shouldn't have acted like that. I was being an ass. Stephanie was right. If you want to date Nick that's your choice not mine. You do what you want and don't listen to me. I'll try to keep my mouth shut from now on. I just really hope that you and Nick can forgive me for what I did."
"What about Stephanie?" Sarah asked. "Her too. I don't know what I'm going to do." "Well, I forgive you and I hope that Stephanie will too."
Sarah got up and hugged AJ. Then they both sat down on the couch.
"Got any ideas about what I can do?" AJ asked. "About Steph?" "Yeah." "I don't know. She's really upset." "I figured that. I guess I really hurt her. Do you think she'll talk to me if I went over to her house?" "No. She kicked me out." "She's that upset?" "Yep." "Oh."
Then the phone rang.
"I'll get it." Sarah said.
She walked over to the phone and picked it up.
"Hello?" she said. "Sarah?" the other person said. "Yeah." "Hey. It's Steph." "Oh. Hey." "I tried calling Nick's house but Brian said that you weren't there." "Yeah. I came back to AJ's house." "Oh. I was wondering if you could come over. I kind-of need a friend right now." "Yeah, sure." "Ok. I'll see ya in a little bit then." "Ok. Bye." "C-ya."
Sarah hung up the phone and then went back into the living room.
"Who was on the phone?" AJ asked. "Um. Stephanie." "Oh. What did she want?" "She asked me if I could come over." "Oh. Did she say anything about me?" "Actually, no." "Oh." "Ok."
Then it got silent.
"Um. Well, can you take me over there?" Sarah asked. "Yeah. I'll go back over to Nick's house and see if he'll forgive me." "Ok."
They both went outside to the car.
~*At Stephanie's House*~
Sarah went over to Sarah's house and knocked on the door.
A couple minutes later, Stephanie came to the door.
"Hey." Sarah said. "Hi."
Sarah went inside and followed Stephanie to the living room.
~*With AJ*~
He went over to Nick's house and Nick and Brian were sitting on the couch.
"Hey, guys." AJ said. "Nick, can we talk?" "I guess so." "Look. I'm really sorry. I told Sarah that she makes the decision to go out with you not me and she said that she will and I'm going tot try and keep my mouth shut from now on. So will you forgive me?" "Yeah. I guess so." "Thanks man."
AJ sat down on the couch.
"So did Stephanie forgive you?" Nick asked. "No. She won't talk to me. She called before and asked Sarah to come over and now I'm hoping that Sarah can talk her into forgiving me." "Hopefully."
