~~~~~~~The next morning~~~~~~~
Katelyn and Stephanie loaded their bags into the trunk of Katie's car.
When they got to the airport, Stephanie followed Katelyn to the gate. The gate was very familiar.
"Kate, What are we doing at the guy's gate?" "So, that our trip to New York is shorter." "Oh."
They got on the plane.
~~~~~~~4 hours later~~~~~~~
A voice came on over the speakers and said, "We will be landing in 10 minutes." (Author's Note: The trip to Canada might take longer but I wouldn't know.)
After they got off the plane, Katelyn and Stephanie got their bags. Then Stephanie followed Katelyn outside.
"You got us a limo?" "Yeah. I didn't want to ride in a cab." "Ok."
They got in the limo while the driver put their bags in the trunk.
"Are you going to tell him where we are going?" "He already knows." "Oh."
They drove for seemed like forever but was really only 15 minutes. Katelyn picked up the phone and asked the driver, "How much longer?" "About 5 minutes." "Thank you." "Anytime."
Katelyn put the phone back on the reciever. She turned to Stephanie and said, "5 minutes." Stephanie nodded. She went back to looking out the window.
"Steph, What's the matter?" "I miss him so much." "Who?" "Duh, Kate." "I know. I'm just joking." Stephanie tried to smile but she couldn't.
The limo stopped after 2 minutes of dead silence. "Were here." Katelyn said to Stephanie as she was getting out of the car.
They went inside and Stephanie sat in a chair in the lobby while Katelyn talked to the lady at the desk. Katelyn came over to Stephanie and said, "Come on."
Stephanie followed Katelyn (again) upstairs to the top floor. They walkd down the hall to room #412. Katelyn opened the door and they went in. Stephanie sat down on the window seat. She put her legs up against her chest. She put her arms around her legs and placed her head on her knees.
"I'm going downstairs and ask them to turn the phone on." Katelyn said. "Ok." Katelyn sighed and then walked out.
Katelyn was waiting for the elevator. It finally came and Brian was getting off.
"Good! Your here." Katelyn said, "She's miserable. She really misses him." "I know. He's the same way." "Do you have it?" "Yeah." he said while pulling a little tape player out of his pocket.
They went inside.
"Steph, I brought a visitor with me." Katelyn said.
Stephanie picked up her head and looked at Katelyn and Brian. She shrugged her shoulders and looked back out the window.
"See what I mean." Katelyn said. "Yes. He's exactly the same." Katelyn sighed and Brian shook his head. "Steph?" Brian said. She turned and looked at him. "Can you come here? I have something I want you to listen to."
She got up and walked over to the bed he was sitting on and sat down next to him.
"Can I ask you a question?" Stephanie asked Brian. "What?" "What are you doing here?" "Maybe I should be the one to ask you that." "What?" "Your in Canada and you are in my room." She gave him a confused look. "Well anyway, listen to this."
Brian pushed 'play' on the little tape recorder that he had. Out of the speaker came AJ's voice. He was saying how much he liked Stephanie and how much he missed her. After AJ was done talking, Brian pushed 'stop.' He saw that Stephanie had 'tears of happiness' running down her cheeks. Brian wiped them away with his thumb.
"Here's the plan. We are going out to dinner tonight, the guys and me, before our concert. I'm going to have the guys go in and get a table. Don't worry. I'll make sure that there are two extra sets. Got this so far?" Brian said. Stephanie nodded. "I'm going to tell the guys I have to make a phone call but really I'm going to wait for you and Kate. Ok? Then you do what you have to with AJ. Oh, this is a fancy restaurant." "Wait. I didn't pack fancy." "Then let's go shopping."
Brian got up and took Stephanie's hand. "Come on." he said.
He poked his head out into the hall and made sure none of the guys were out there.
"Go downstairs and I'll be there in a sec." "Ok."
Katelyn and Stephanie went down to the lobby while Brian went to Nick's room.
"Nick, I'm bored. Let's go explore the town." he said this because Kevin was in the room. "Alright."
Nick got up off the bed and him and Brian walked downstairs. While they were in the elevator, Brian told Nick everything. They met up with Stephanie and Katelyn. They went outside and got in the limo.
