Stephanie got up very quietly so that she didn't wake AJ. By the time she was done with her shower, it was only 9:00. AJ still wasn't awake. She went downstairs. She called Nick.
"Hello?" "Sorry. Did I wake you?" "No, I'm just being lazy." I would to if I had my house to myself but now I have rommates." "Oh. Why did you call?" "Well, since you guys are leaving in a couple of days, I was wondering if you could meet me at the mall in a hour?" "Yeah, sure! But why?" "Because I want to spend the day with AJ and Brian." "Yeah, alright. See you in a hour." "Thank you, bye." They hung up the phone and then she walked upstairs to Katelyn's bedroom. She got lucky because Katelyn was already up.
"Hey." Katelyn said. "Change of plans. We have to meet Nick in a hour." "Let me take a shower and I'll be right down." "Ok, hurry up."
Stephanie walked down the stairs and sat at the bottom. She sat there waiting when she heard somebody walk down behind her and she said, "Ok, Kate. Come on. He's probably waiting." She turned around and saw Brian standing behind her.
"Who's probably waiting?" "Nobody." "Your going to see Nick. Aren't you?" "Yeah." "Does AJ know?" "No and please don't tell him." "Why?" "Please just don't." "Fine." "Thank you." "Yeah, you owe me." "Alright."
She gave Brian a hug and then Katelyn came down the stairs. Katelyn gave Brian a hug and then her and Stephanie left.
