
Paramount's Kings Island will build the world's first wooden hypercoaster for it's 2000 season. Son of Beast, the sequel to The Beast, will break the 200 ft. mark by towering 218 feet into the sky. Another first for the Son of Beast is it's loop. It will be the first wooden coaster in the world with an inversion.
Son of Beast's track will be 7,038 feet long that is built on 12 acres of land. They will need 2 million board feet to build this monster(that's more than 378 miles). You will experience up to 4.46 g's while traveling at speeds up to 78 mph. The entire ride will take approximatly 3 minutes. Here are some of it's statistics.
