RAW Sunday Showdown - 5/28/00

Sunday Showdown - 5/28/00
LIVE From The RAW Arena

Referee - Masked Man

- The BrotherHOOD came to the ring at the start of the show to take care of some personal business. Second Nature and Hardcore Glen seemed mad that Aerial Assassin didn't help them at the previous event when Jeremy "Wicked" Wallace turned on them and cost them the match. Aerial Assassin stated that he gets no respect from the BrotherHOOD and that he is being held back. He then went on to introduce his new partner, none other than Jeremy Wallace. Wallace came out and proceeded to challenge Hardcore Glen to a number one contender match for later in the night. Violator then came to ringside and said since he is World Champion, he should be the special guest referee for the match.

- Phoenix vs. Great Gama
Phoenix looked tough in his RAW debut against Great Gama. After a few impressive moves by Phoenix, Gama took over and started to show no mercy with a variety of submission holds. Phoenix got the advantage back and picked up the win.
Winner: Phoenix

- Bruizer vs. Herminater - RAW Television Title Match
Despite his less than stellar record, Bruizer looked impressive in this match against Herminater. Bruizer hit some huge moves, including a few big slams. He lamost had the match and the Television Championship, but Herminater's expierence was too much for him. Herminater took over and got the win after hitting the Hermination Device.
Winner: Herminater
Still RAW Television Champion

- Aerial Assassin vs. Second Nature
This was a grudge match all the way. Nature was still mad from earlier in the night when Double A bailed on the BrotherHOOD and Aerial Assassin had the fire in him that was the reason behind him leaving. These two went right at it and didn't let up for a second. Aerial Assassin could have pulled off the victory, but Nature caught him in his attempt at a cross body and hit Nature's Fury to get the win.
Winner: Second Nature

- Phantom vs. Xavier - Hardcore Rules
Phantom really took a beating in this match at the hands of Xavier. Xavier used a variety of slams on to the outside to weaken Phantom and finished the match os after a stiff chair shot.
Winner: Xavier

- Bruizer & Phantom vs. Violator - Non-Title Handicap Match
Could two people stop RAW World Champion, Violator? The answer is no. Bruizer and Phantom had no chance in this one from the start after getting hit with a double flying clothesline. Violator got the win after hitting a Bolistic Bomb on both men at the same time.
Winner: Violator

- Titan vs. Fly Guy - RAW Intercontinental Title Match
Despite the size difference, these two were quite even when it came to skill, making this a very even match. Titan slowly took the advantage after hitting a big suplex. Titan picked Fly Guy up for a gorilla press slam, but accidently hit the referee in the process. Out of no where, Phoenix came to ringside and hit a big Tornado DDT on Titan, casting him the match and the title. Fly Guy made the cover and escaped with the win.
Winner: Fly Guy
Still RAW Intercontinental Champion

- Jeremy Wallace vs. Hardcore Glen - Number One Contender Match - Violator As Special Guest Referee
Wallace was hell bent on getting his shot at the title he held for six months and went all out in this match. Wallace started out with a few vicious moves and looked like he may take the match. Glen managed to kick out of a Wallace cover and never looked back after hitting the Glen Special to take the win and keep his number one contender spot.
Winner: Hardcore Glen

- Follwoing the match, Jeremy Wallace got on themicrophone and made a challenge to Hardcore Glen and Second Nature for a match for the RAW World Tag-Team Titles. The match was said to happen at Ringmasters. Personified Perfection happily accepted as the two teams stared down each other as the show came to a close.
