Powder and Susan
Powder: Hey everybody!

Susan: Oh my gosh, oh my gosh...

Powder: Calm down!! Jeez, yer so hyper!!

Susan: I'M hyper?!? If I'm hyper, you're having a seizure!!

Powder: I resent that.

Susan: I wanna tell them!!

Powder: That's MY job!

Susan: Okay, okay, I'll tell them about Tugger, you tell the other stuff.

Powder: *grumble grumble* Okay...well, on Saturday, 25 of September, 1999, Susan and I went to see CATS in New York City!! As you can tell, it was the GREATEST experience of our lives!! On the car ride there I, for once, was the calm one. On the other hand, Susan was bouncing up and down like an eight year old at an N'SYNC concert.

Susan: You would have been bouncing too, but YOU were anchored down by your fanfics notebook.

Powder: They're good stories!! As I was saying...when we reached our destination (the ferry parking lot), Sus and I jumped out, talking a mile a minute about our costumes and the upcoming show. This convorsation continued across the river, tonto the bus, and into the Italian restaurant where we ate lunch. That's where we made the decision to visit the Capezio store above the Winter Garden Theater. Upon finishing our delicious lunch of pizza and pasta, Susan and I made our way to the Capezioi store. After making a fuss over the heat-sensored buttons in the elevator, we tried on two unitards each, finally deciding on the last two with 20 minutes to spare. We rushed down to the theater, handing the man our tickets and quickly taking our seats. Susan, of course, had to go to the bathroom, and quickly rushed just as the person was announcing that you should have no cameras, or any device such as that, on during the show. Being the lucky kitty she was, she made it back just as the lights were dimming. Many of the cats, at that point, came out with glowing green eyes, making us jump nearly five feet out of our seats. Susan even squeaked a couple times. Did I tell you where we were sitting?

Powder: Course not, Ok, for those of you who've never seen the Broadway production, there are two ramps coming down from the stage into the orchestra section of seats, and we were sitting right at the bottom of one ramp. This is where ALL the action occurs. All the cats in the show came down this ramp and nuzzled us-of course we WERE the only girls in the area, and the youngest at that.

Powder: But that's besides the point.

Susan: Right. First of all, EVERYONE in the cast was absolutely AMAZING.

Powder: TOTALLY!!! Okay...so the cats dissappear and start in with "Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats". Susan and I are watching everyone, but mostly looking for Jacob Brent. When he came out, Susan and I almost squealed out loud, but settles to whispering to each other. The show went on as usual until "The Naming of Cats". When the cats came out in the audience, Munkustrap came RIGHT IN FRONT of me and just kept STARING at me. I was looking down and blushing profusely, while Susan kept nudging me and saying "Look up!! Look up!!" I finally gathered up my courage and looked up, almost hyperventalating. Just kept staring at each other until the end of the song....it was intense.

Susan: AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Powder: Just calme down and tell your part!!!

Susan: Easy for you to say!! Ok ok ok, Rum Tum Tugger sings the first part of his song (hillarious!) and ran down the ramp in front of us. He stopped, looked at Powder, looked at me, and HELD OUT HIS HAND TO ME!!! So I DANCED WITH TUGGER!! We danced in a circle and he twirled me around and then I sat down. He cajoled everyone into applause for me! Then he blew a kiss at Powder and I and went back onstage. I'm pretty sure that actually happened...at least I have an eyewitness! AHHH!! His shoulder fur thing was really stiff and spikey. I felt like I impaled my forearm on the back of his neck. Again, I may be hallucinating...Powder, that happened, right?

Powder: You bet it did!! That was so amazing!! If that happened to me I probably would have flipped out!! SERIOUSLY!!! Everything was great from there on in. Victoria and Sillabub were so cute together!! During intermission we got a LOT of stares and questions from people around us. Old Deuteronomy was "meditating" on stage, as usual. Susan and I ate the Kit Kats we had bought and questioned the bar tender and stage manager about Jacob Brent. It was over soon and the second act started. Grizabella was GREAT!! She had a wonderful voice! Demeter and Bombalurina were not far behind!! Jacob Brent's dance was the BEST I have ever seen!! He did 35 fouettes in the middle of the stage! At the end, when the cats were taking their bows, Munkustrap came within centimeters of us, grinning broadly and nearly sat in our laps!! Demeter came along and pawed at Susan's shoe, untying it in the process! She fought with Munkustrap in front of us!! But this wasn't the best part...that is yet to come!! We RAN outside and around to the stage doors...where we managed to get the autographs of Missy Lay Zimmer (Victoria), Jean Arbeiter (Jellylorum/Griddlebone), Silvia Aruj (Tantomile), Celina Cavajal (Demeter), Jeffry Denman (Munkustrap), Billy Johnstone (Coricopat), Lynne Morrissey (Cassandra), Patrick Mullaney (Tumblebrutus), Mary Jo Ralabate (Sillabub), Jonathon Stahl (Alonzo), Sharon Wheatley (Jennyanydots), and...drumroll please....JACOB BRENT!!!!!!!!!! What an adventure THAT was!!!!!! I was standing at one stage door, and Susan was standing at the other. All of a sudded, I hear her gasp really loudly and there she was standing with JB!! She pointed at him in surprise, one hand covering her mouth, and Jacob mimicked her!! He did the same thing!!! it was hillarious!!! I nearly died!! So after calming down, we talked to him for a few minutes, he asked us questions, we asked him questions...*sigh* it was great! *grins* To say the least, we were REALLY buzzing on the way home! We could barely sit still! The sleepover we had and all the caffine we drank didn't help either!! We didn't get to sleep till...when? Susan? Susan wake up!!!!!!

Susan: *suddenly jerks awake* Huh? What? Is it time to go to school?

Powder: Tsk, tsk. Here I am, telling one of the most important, stories, and you're SLEEPING! I asked you what time we went to bed!!

Susan: How should I know???

Powder: Well, that answers that. So, hope we didn't bore y'all ta death!! Oh wait! I forgot!

Susan: What?

Powder: We're going again on November 6!!!

Susan: Woohoo!!!!! Can't wait!!!

Powder: THAT story will be up after it happens! Until then, adios!

Susan: Toodles!
