FINAL REPORT

Data from all schools will be posted by April 15, 2002. Please complete Data Analysis lesson in order to prepare final report. Click HERE for Data Analysis Lesson Plan.

The final report should be a brief summary -a paragraph or two- of the analysis of the data collected from all participating schools. Click HERE to view the data after April 15, 2002.

Below are some questions to consider when preparing class final reports:

What were your hypotheses about the relationship of the distance from a fossil fueled power plant and the acidity of the rainfall prior to this experiment?
After testing the rainwater in your area, what were your thoughts?
After comparing the data from all schools, what was the status of your hypotheses?
What type of correlation did your graphs illustrate? Explain.
What other factors do you think could have influenced the results?
Do you think this was an effective experiment? What comments or suggestions can you offer for future projects?

Final reports should be e-mailed to project leaders at phacidrain@yahoo.com no later than April 22, 2002. On the subject line please type "Final Report by YOUR school name, YOUR city, YOUR state" (for example, Final Report by Lincoln Middle School, Passaic, NJ).
