Welcome to the Penguin Squad's Air Force! We are proud of our Air defense, and with good reason; all of our crafts use the newest and best technologies to make them the best they can be. There are several Air Squads, each using a different type of aircraft:

Adelie Squadron-- This is the PS's primary Air defense. These pilots fly the P2700Adelie Fighters, which have an overall average performance. The newer ones are armed with a medium-powered laser cannon on each side, in place of the older machine guns. It also can carry up to 4 short range air-to-air missiles, 4 long-range air-to-air missiles, and 2 ground missiles. This craft can move at a fairly quick speed, and it's armour is strong enough to defend itself from strong enemy attacks. A tough adversary for anyone that opposes the Squad.

Gentoo Squadron-- The PS's Elite forces, this is the strongest air squad. Only the best pilots get to fly the GentooX's, which use the best of the Squad's technology. On each side of the craft there is a laser cannon slightly stronger than the P2700s'. It has 6 seeking air-to-air missiles, along with 2 powerful ground missiles that are often used to wipe out an entire enemy facility. The GentooX's also have a small shield generatour which provides more protection. Its small enough to allow the GentooX to move very quickly and maneuver well, as does the fairly limited amount of missiles, therefore the shield has limited power.

Arctic Squad-- The P-17Arctic Defenders are small, quick, and deadly. Of all the air squads, this one has the most aircraft available. The ships are small in size and have limited armour, making them cheap and easy to make. However, this makes them vulnerable to enemy attacks and they can be easily destroyed. They make up for this with their great numbers. The Arctic's are often used to defend the stronger ships rather than attacking themselves. They are equipped only with 2 machine guns. A recent feature that was added to the P-17's is a self-destruct which is capable of greatly damaging a large enemy ship. Since the Squad doesn't want to send anyone on a kamikaze mission, it is only used on remote-controlled crafts. There must be a Command Ship nearby, however, where the P-17 can be controlled from.

Aqua Squadron-- This is the most powerful squad in the force. The P-64Aqua Bombers are equipped with the best weapons and shields. It's thick armour and powerful shield generatour make it nearly invincible! It carries up to 12 bombs and 6 air-to-air missiles. Like most others, it has 2 machine guns on each side for close range attacks. The Aqua's best weapon is an ion cannon which can disable or destroy it's target, depending on the magnitude of the blast. At full power, it can disable a heavily armoured tank. With all of this there surely must be a weakness, and that would be it's incredibly slow speed. While the Aqua attacks ground targets, other craft usually protect it from air attacks.
