 bjork. Can't even explain what she does to me... Amazes, inspires and hypnotizes. Bjork has inspired me so so greatly, and I've never met her. A lot of people inspire me and open my mind, but I know them all personally. Because I don't know her, I'm dumbfounded by how much she's messed with my head. It's a little wierd, but she gives me chills. I love the elements of her music, mostly it's just simple sounds mixed oddly, but perfectly...with the lyrics, the stories, and her outlooks on life, all of that tweaked together, I feel like I can totally relate to it, but I actually FEEL emotions from it - more than I've ever felt any other artist or music. I started listening to her out of nowhere one day...and it wasn't like "this is cool"...the song totally grabbed me hardcore...so has every song of hers I've heard since then. Her voice is awesome to me too. She can go from sounding like a little girl, to a soft throaty whisper, to a shocking screach in one note without any synthesized tweaking...and to me, no matter how many times I hear her songs, remixes, originals, live versions...she still sounds like she's making it up as she goes, and that's THE BEST! It sucks, because I can't fully explain why I like her so much, but I will say-she reminds me a lot of me. some artwork: this pic took me over a year to finish it... most of the time spent staring at it, afraid to add more because I didn't want to ruin it...but I've finally finished!!!
