A Ulrich SWAR* b. in Strasbough, France. He m. Helen MYER. Their children: Peter* (A1).
Second Generation
A1 Peter SWARR* was born in 1690 in Strasbough, France and died in 1783 (another source says 1767) in Lancaster Co., Pa. He was an immigrant, arriving in Philadelphia in 1716. He married Adaline BLOOMING* around 1715. They were Huguenots (also known as Calvinists).
Their children: John Blooming* (A11), Peter (A12), Christian (A13), Anna (A14), Adelaine (A15), Blanche (A16), Maria (A17), Elizabeth* (A18).
Third Generation
A11 John Blooming SWAR* was born about 1736 in Lancaster Co., Pa. He was an early member of the Mennonite Church and his homestead farm was 2 miles east of Landisville in East Hempfield Twp., Lancaster Co., Pa. John died about 1823 in Lancaster Co. His first wife was Veronica SHIRK (see SHIRK A111361) and they were married around 1768. Veronica was born about 1740 in Lancaster Co., where she also died.
Their children: John (A111), Elizabeth (A112), Christian (A113), Veronica Shirk (A114), Peter (A115), Anna* (A116)
In 1785 John married Magdalena Yordy NISSELY and they had 5 children.

A13 Christian SWAR b. before 1715 in France.
A14 Anna SWAR b. 1720. She m. Ulrich SHIRK.
A17 Maria SWAR b. c1715 in Sumiswald, Switzerland. She m. Rev. Peter SHIRK.
A18 Elizabeth SCHWARR was born around 1738 in Lancaster County, Pa. Her parents and siblings are unknown. She died in Lancaster County and is buried in the Weberthal Burial Grounds in the same county. She was probably a close relative of the Swiss Mennonite Peter Swarr who came to America with the Brubakers in 1717. Around 1745, Elizabeth married Michael SHIRK (see SHIRK A11134)

A112 Elizabeth SWARR b. 16 Feb. 1773 in Lancaster Co.
A113 Christian SWARR b. 1776 in Lancaster Co.
A114 Veronica Shirk SWARR b. 17 Jan. 1779 in Lancaster Co. and d. 13 Jun. 1847 in Manheim, PA. She is buried in the Lehn Cemetery between Neffsville & Lititz in Lancaster Co. She m. Joseph ROYER.
A115 Peter SWARR b. 17 Jan. 1779 in Lancaster Co.
A116 Anna SWARR* was born 17 May 1781 in Lancaster County, Pa. She died 12 October 1860 in Rapho Twp., Lancaster County, Pa. She is buried in the Rapho Twp. farm. Her tombstone reads:
"Hier Ruhet Anna zie Frau Von John Summy Geboren den 16 June 1781 Starb den November 1860 War Alt 79 Jahre 4 Monat und 25 Tage Ruhe sanst in deinen grust bis dich Jesus wieder rust."
This inscription can be translated to: "Rest gently/peacefully in your dust Until you with Jesus again rise." (doesn't rhyme in English).
Anna married John SUMMY (See SUMMY A1211).
