"Hey, I hope you had fun at the club last night." Ian told him the next morning. "Sorry I was a little caught up in things and I didn't see you at all."
"No, it was good, I had fun."
"I saw that girl you were with, she was hot."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, she went to high school with Casey, I sorta knew her."
"Oh.." Ian trailed off, "That's kinda cool."
"I guess..." Tay told him, sighing, "She thinks the same as I do about Kyle, she said she might go over to the apartment to talk to her, but I have to call her first."
"That sounds pretty good," Ian told him. "First you should call Casey to see if Kyle is still there."
"I am not talking to Casey, until I am sure that he's gone!" Tay angrily told his friend.
"Ok, ok, I'll call her then, I wish you two would just make up, this is ridiculous."
"Ian..." Tay warned him.
"Ok, I get the point, I'll call her now," Ian dialed the number. "Hi, is Casey there?" he asked.
"Who is this." the voice on the other end of the line told him.
"It's Ian, now put her on the phone." Ian disgustedly sighed. "Hi Casey, it's Ian." he told her when she finally got on the line.
"What do you want?" she asked him, an air of disgust in her voice.
"Hold up," Ian told her, "I didn't do anything to anyone, but from the way it sounds, that Kyle kid is still over your house."
"Yeah, he is," Casey told him, "And he's not leaving any time soon."
"Alright!" Ian yelled to her, "You don't have to jump down my throat! My God!"
"Oh, one more thing," Casey told him bitterly, "Tell him I hate him, and that I never ever want to see him again." With that Casey hung up the phone. Ian, dumbfoundedly turned to Taylor.
"Well," he paused, "It seems like you're not going to be going back to her apartment anytime soon."
"What now," Taylor sighed.
"She said Kyle's gonna be staying there for a while, and that she hates you and never wants to see you again."
"Oh..." Tay trailed off and wheeled into the other room. "I guess I should go back to Chris's now, him and Greg will be home from work soon, I don't want them to worry if I'm not there."
"Sure," Ian told him, "Tell them that I'll be over there later tonight, around 7, ok?"
"No problem," Tay told him as he dejectedly wheeled out the door.
"That poor kid," Ian murmured to himself, "That girls acts like she's his damn mother sometimes..."

"Hold on a second Kyle," Casey laughed, rolling off the couch onto the floor.
"Oh, come on babe," he told her, tickling her.
"No!" she laughed, "I have to get the door!"
"Ok, ok," he smiled as she walked through the kitchenette to the door. "Hello?" she said, opening the door. "Oh, hi..." she trailed off, speechless as she saw her old friend from high school standing in the doorway.
"Hi Casey," Kristi told her, sheepishly smiling, "Sorry I dropped by without telling you first."
"Oh, come in." Casey told her, giving her a questioning look.
"Thanks," she told her. "You got a pretty nice place here."
"Thank you, how did you find out where I lived?" Casey asked her.
"I'll tell you later." Kristi told her friend, shooting looks at Kyle, who was laying on the couch.
"Casey-" Kyle interrupted. "I think I'll go to the store now to get that milk and stuff we needed."
"Thanks." Casey told him, sighing as he walked out the door.
"Why are you here now, Kristi, I haven't seen you in years, and all of a sudden, you show up at my apartment with no notice."
"Casey, I hope you know that what you did was so wrong."Look, I'm sorry Kristi, it was just something that happened."
"You know what, sometimes sorry just doesn't cut it Casey, you know that, and I know that, and this is definitely one of those times." Kristi stormed out of the room.
"Look, I didn't think anything bad would happen, I really didn't!" Casey called, running after her friend.
"But it did, didn't it." Kristi looked at her bitterly.
"Look, I'm sorry, I wish I didn't do what I did, and if I could go back in time and change what I did, I would do it in a second."
"Sometimes, Casey, people have to learn from their mistakes, and you made a big mistake. I hope that one day, you do learn from what you did, and that you'll realize that this only hurt yourself, and everyone involved." Kristi choked back tears before she continued, "What goes around, comes around, sweetie, even if you don't want it to. There are people who you hurt, and no amount of sorrys will change that. There will be a time in your life when you look back on this, and you fully understand what you did. Until then, I don't want to see you or hear you, do you understand?"
"Yeah, I understand..." Casey trailed off, breaking into sobs as Kristi stormed away.
"I think you have an idea of why I'm here." Kristi told her.
"Yeah," Casey sighed, "What is it now." she said, looking up at the ceiling.
"It's killing you to know he's mad at you now, isn't it, it was always the other way around when you were young, you would blow up in his face, and as soon as you weren't mad anymore, you would go back over and see him, and there would be no apoligies needed, right Casey?"
"It's not my fault!" Casey told her, starting to cry.
"You know that you hurt him with what you did."
"He chose to be mad, I'm not a little kid, he can't tell me what to do, and what not to do." Casey told her, an angry tone in her voice.
"You know why he did, he doesn't want you to get hurt again. Did you ever stop to think that maybe he knows what he's talking about sometimes, just because he's in a wheelchair now doesn't mean that he's totally oblivious to everything that goes on, right Casey?"
"Stop it!" Casey screamed at her, sobbing. "It's not my fault he got hurt! I had nothing to do with it!"
"Did I say you did, no, I know you didn't, there was nothing you could do about that. You have to learn to accept that you're wrong sometimes. Do you remember what I told you last time I talked to you?"
"Yes," Casey told her, her face twisting into a frown, "That one day I would realize just what I did."
Kristi nodded. "It still seems that, years later, you haven't realized what you did. This time, you hurt Taylor in a different way. You know what you did, and I know that you can fix it. If you want to know, Taylor is at Chris and Greg's apartment right now. I'm going to be over there tonight too. Think about it." Kristi looked Casey over, turned around, and walked out the door.
Casey sat down on the floor, put her head in her hands, and sobbed. "I can't believe I did it again, Taylor, oh my god, I did it again." she choked out. She quickly picked up the phone and called up Ian's apartment. "Hi, Ian?" she quickly asked when he picked up the phone.
"Um, hi Casey..." Ian stammered, confused that she would be calling. "Taylor's not here, if that's who you're looking for."
"Where is he!" Casey shouted in frustration, almosy bursting into tears again.
"You don't have to get so worked up about it." Ian told her. "I think he went to Chris's, you should try calling there."
"Thank you so much Ian!" Casey hurriedly told him, hanging up the phone and calling Chris. She twisted her hair in frustration as no one picked up. The answering machine soon came on. "Hi, it's Casey, Taylor, if you're there, please pick up, or call me back when you get there, or come over to the apartment, soon as you can, please!" Casey hung up the phone, hoping that Taylor would be able to forgive her.
