"Taylor, wake up," came a cheery voice accompanied by an arm gently shaking his shoulders.
Taylor groggily opened his eyes and managed to mumble, "Casey, I don't have work today."
"I know," she replied, her eyes wide and smiling, "I thought the four of us would go and take a day trip."
"The four of us?" he questioned, rubbing his eyes.
"Yeah, you, me, Ike, and Devin."
"Come on Casey, let me go back to sleep, what time is it?" he rolled over and attempted to grab his pillow.
"I don't think so, buddy. It's 7:30 and we're leaving by 8. Ike and Devin are up and ready to go."
"I thought Devin had to work."
"He did," Casey replied, "but didn't you hear the phone ring 45 minutes ago?" Taylor shook his head. "Well, it was Louie, he works with Devin and couldn't work tomorrow at 11 but was free today so he and Devin switched shifts."
"Oh," Taylor replied sleepily.
"I don't think so buddy, get up right now, we're out of here by 8!"
"Casey," Taylor grudginly replied.
"Up!" she abruptly answered.
"Oh, alright already," he said, defeated as he got ready to leave.
