As a special treat (which has nothing to do with the fact that this was an assignment) I present to you April's poet of the month, who isn't even really a poet. He's actually a playwright, and he wrote everything in Italian, so you guys better brush up on it. Cuz here goes this month's poet:

That was fun. Brief bio: Carlo Goldoni wrote in the 18th century and is considered to be the father of modern Italian comedy. He wrote about 150 plays in his lifetime, most of which are an adaptation of Italian Commedia dell'arte and were inspired by the work of Moliere. You can learn more by clicking on the links below:
