BOXHEAD GOTHICS SERIES No. 3 // NJ61 1983 C60

A la difference. Base ick traxx. Really groovy.

REPERTOIRE // NJ62 1983 C90 / 2CD

Totally amazing set, the big beat sound matures further on this timeless masterpeece, lotsa work & attention to detail (finally!) here. Includes 'Jesus Christ,' 'Unlimited Outrage,' 'How Does It Feel To Feel Good (version),' top ten hit 'First-Hand,' 'Cool It Baby,' 'Comfort My People,' 'Ring of Fire,' etc.

FRIENDS & ENEMIES, VOL. 1 // NJ63 1983 C90

(See RSM Family Album.)

UNDER THE COVERS // NJ64 1983 C60 / CD

The kid's renditions of other famous songs. Wow!!

THE CHURCH SESSION // NJ65 1983 C60

Characteristically distinctive sounds of drumms, pipe organ, percussions, audio-verite big hall sin-thesis. (Appears on NJ62 CDs)

ASS-AULT! (DOLLARTAPE) // NJ66 1983 C30 / CD

Advertised sampler mess of nearly 75 tunes, excerpted for the uninitiated, & quite a quick retrospective. Daring.

IT'S WHAT'S HAPPENING, BABY! // NJ67 1983 C60 / CD

Mucho pleasure, still noor surprise efforts, containing the popular 'I'm Bored,' 'Nadir 3 & 4,' eighties remake of 'Habitat,' 'What's the Point?', 'Step It Up,' 'Expiration Date.' Now!

OB NEWSCHK / AHEM IN 4 PART SECTION // NT68 1973 C90 / 2CD

Dug up from legendary unreleased archives masters, companion to NT05, wild repulsive QNE, admired by Cage, Stockhausen, Hiller, and Roy Acuff. Budgetprice $50. Screams.

SERVING SUGGESTION // NJ69 1983 C90 / 2CD

Help! The boy cannot stop taping...is it getting better, worse, or neither??? You are the decision. Thus, this particular hour-plus-half-more program gives judging listeners many moments both spectacular and horrible. Catch projects like 'Who Is Rick Derringer?', the bawdy 'Tissues Honey,' '91.1,' several jumpy RSM pops, and the Rake event.

STEVEDORE // NJ70 1983 C60 / CD

Summer, new recognition, first rehearsels with a 'band,' other reasons result in great freshow. Swim along to the hit remake of 'I Want You in My Life,' 'Naked,' 'Stevie's Dead Pt. 1,' title track, and many others in addition!"

FMFM (Frequently Modern Frequency Modulation) // NJ71 1983 C90 / 2CD

Continuing saga of sounds, sogs, scorn, satire, sweet, shock, smiles, selfindulgence, surprise...standout selections seem to be 'Lisbon Lesbian,' 'Wake Up in the Morning,' 'Stevie's Dead (Continued),' 'Too Much Talk,' etc.!! Hey!

APDT (Annette Prophet Demo Tape) // NJ72 1983 C60

As heard on several RSM masters, sweet female vocals and insanity experiments, a budding artist on some hazy horizon, her, she, fem, powerful amateurism; discover? MtR.

CURIOUSLY ENOUGH // NJ73 1983 C90 / 2CD

Home orchestra sans conductor, traditionally Modern classical composiction & improvisation on the Roland synthesizer, so on with it! The anti-movie soundtrack for you.

HOSTILE TERRITORY // NJ74 1983 C60 / CD

Another grand set, one side hi-fi-fo-fum rockin' tracks, the other side one long wrong title song ('The Sound of Agony'). With curious remake of 'Goodbye Piano,' 'Eaux Eaux Eaux,' 'Mais Oui,' Lovera's 'Runaway With Me,' smore.

ROGER FERGUSON / Alive and Well // NT75 1968-1976 C90 / 2CD

Quite interesting compilation of different tracks from many home sessions with lead vocals by RSM's longtime 'best friend.' Rare collector item from Nashvilledays.

RARITIES // NJ76 1969-1983 C90 / 2CD

Highly-sought alternate takes and unreleased sides, not to be on any tape in any store found. Old Tennessee discards, new tunes that didn't fit on; absolutely incredible for the sharp RSM completist, nice for its own listen, too!

BILLY A // NT77 1973-1977 C90 / 2CD

Another close compadre of Moore's, Mister Anderson singing and playing through the RSM sound attitude. Striking original homespun pop, rock, country, ballads, novelty, & all else. Neat.

VICTOR LOVERA / EROS ETHOS // NT78 1975-1976 C90 / 2CD

Victor Lovera: Phenomenal writer, vocalist, and essential influence on R. Stevie Moore. The arthritic genius who united with Moore to create hundreds of home recordings from 1971 to 1977, these 28 songs represent the peakperiod. Energy pop extraordinare.

CRISES // NJ79 1983 C60 / CD

Clear sign of Stevieprogress, prevalent choice of consistent K7 orderers. Very dynamic moods for your feelings, with possession of such items as 'There Is No God in America,' 'Skin Mags,' 'The Essex Coast,' 'Laugh Laugh,' 'What'll I Do,' etc.

FRIENDS AND ENEMIES, VOL. 2 // NJ80 1983 C90

Various artistes from various eras, the second collection (to NJ63). Moore great uncommon findings from Stevie's days with Price, Ferguson, Lovera, Ravis, Griffin(s), Hopper, & others and sporting some super surprise associations. Obtain.

MIKE HOPPER/WAIT UP // NT81 1975-1977 C90 / CD

A later RSM Nashville acquaintance, with songs to sing and a crack producer to tape them with. Unique development and an early sign of things to come. Mike H. sez hi.

JIMMY PRICE/FREEDOM NOW // NJ82 1980-1983 C90

A fantastic new NJ recording pal & fellow DJ, various styles and ideas approached, from warm romanticism to eccentric chaos. Bell alarm. Don't worry about women. Tumpah looa.

HOPPER/THIS IS IT // NT83 1978-1983 C90 / 2CD

Non-RSM, but showing what Michael accomplished after Moore moved north. Totally incredible punk rush, not at all symbolic of normal Nashville lethargy. Studio & home. Anarchy.

THE R.STEVIE MOORE INTERVIEW // NJ84 1984 C60

Project planned in 1983, continually put off....try NJ128.

MUSTS // NJ85 1983 C90 / 2CD

An unbelievable trip inside the world, around the mind, or just another collage of specific sounds from the period. Called 'very depressing' by one, 'wowie zowie' by another, includes 'Happens Every Morning,' 'Deep Kiss,' 'I Am the Songwriter,' 'Obscene 'Zines,' many tiny tunes and Noises.

COUNTRY DISGUISES // NJ86 1983 C60

Recollection of best of RSMC&W renderings, all jes stuck awn wunn liddle type! Shux, y'all, it's downrat Earthy.

HARD SHARKS // NY87 1983 C90

Totally non-RSM, but adored and easily considered for release with permission from Peter Olafson, artist responsible. He's purchased more Mooretapes than anyone in the world, and the hometapes of the music HE makes are truly joyful. Very lo fi pop masterpieces, much like early Lovera/Beatlegs! (Several to choose from.)

REPRISM // NT88 1974 C90

Unreleased archive master. Piano improvs, Vol. 3.

ETHOS I & II (VICTOR LOVERA) // NT89 1973 C90 / 2CD

Still more earlier brashrock, superb songs, obscure audio. Revoltingly original sincerity & intensity. Bowianhype.

ON STANDBY // NJ90 1983 C60

This is a nice tape. You could grow to like that number. On the tape tracks exist the instant favorite 'Here's To John Wesley Hardin,' some hot Rayvens rehearsels, 'Pay You Back With Interest,' and other odd indignities. Fine.

R.STEVIE MOORE THE DISK JOCKEY // NJ91.1 1983 C90s / CDs REAL AUDIO

Radio broadcasts over WFMU East Orange, NJ. Particularly inserted for out-of-towners to hear how eclectic airwaves can actually be. Free-form to the max! Listen Now!

MR. URBAN CONTEMPORARY // NJ92 1984 C90

Real bad compile-ation of Disko Dance R. Only the best street-mixes & dub 12" club rotations. Fo yo mama gettin' down. 92 KTU. (Never completed, not available)

ROGO Live at Banjo Bar-B-Q // NT93 1975 C60 / CD

Rare detestable archive reel of shortlived live band with Roger Ferguson & others. Utterly sorry excuse, but funnnnny!

THE SOUND OF FUGTO // NT94 1968 C90

#2 in the Immmaturity Series, a la Grease (NT02) hi-school!

MORE MOORE VERSIONS // NJ95 1983 C60

RSM Rarities Vol. two; unreleased Clack! tracks, unfinished ideas which became staple fan-faves, other found goodies. Compiled by Val Sebastiano. (CD bonus tracks on Rarities, NJ76)

BOB MOORE AND HIS ORCHESTRA // NT96 1960s C60

Bizarre loving tribute to the music of RSM's Dad, gathered from Monument & Hickory LP's & 45's, as well as unreleased tapes and parental gems. Trumpetenparade! Bass ball? (inquire within.)

R.S.M. And THE RAYVENS, LIVE VOL. I // NJ97 1983 C60

All summer RSM had hitched up to an already-existing rockband, and this set was recorded at Folk City in New York 8/31. Hear the beginnings of the transfer from home to stage, many of your favorite Stevie Songs, nervously rushed. Audience!

R.S.M. And THE RAYVENS, LIVE VOL. II // NJ98 1983 C60

From Maxwell's in Hoboken 10/22, the last gig (?). Wild!

AS IF VINYL DIDN'T EXIST // NJ99 1983 C60 / CD

As another hopeful 'record' deal falls thru, this sixty comes (un)together, a.i.v.d.e. New release? What does that mean? The boy cannot stop taping: experience 'Dormitory Girls,' more new versions of 'First Hand,' 'I Want You in My LIfe,' 'JWH,' and even some even more fab new tunes! Not quad, but desperate.

AMATEUR HOUR with the Card Charts // NJ100 1983 C60 / CD

The vicious circle! RSM burnt to a crisp! One hundred demos? What now? Efffort??? Ah, return to roots! Inspired by Hard Sharks, Moore creates 29 songs on noisier cheap portable cassette decks. Dated on purpose. Lots of covers, RSM hits, friends' & enemies' compositions. Ted Mack would hate it.

....until this mammoth list has been fully posted, I'm required to steer you in the unfortunate direction, towards our most recent site....yet another in the Un-Continuing Non-Exploits of some CDR Encyclopediac fantasy, which has no bearing on the impending January First, Two Thousand A.D. debacle....even my new BAND can't secure a goddammed proper BOOKING!

OH, FORGET IT
