Rowan Jazz Festival

Rowan Jazz Band Festival Schedule for Thursday, February 3, 2000

• 9:30 a.m. - All jazz ensemble members meet in C-14 - Load equipment truck
• 9:45 - Depart for Rowan University - Glassboro, NJ (Directions will be available shortly)
• 10:15 - Arrive at Rowan
• 10:30 - All jazz ensemble members will watch performance by Willingboro H.S. Jazz Ensemble
• 11:00 - 11:45 - Lunch on your own (Rowan has lots of food for sale, or you may bring your own)
• 11:45 - 12:45 p.m. - All jazz ensemble members report to concert hall for clinic
• 12:45 - Jazz ensemble members report to Warm-up room
• 1:30 - Carusi Jazz Ensemble performance and clinic in main concert hall
• 2:00 - Pictures taken
• 2:10 - Load equipment truck
• 2:20 - Departure for Carusi
• 2:50 - Expected arrival (in time for the regular bus)

Permission forms ARE NOW available in C-14. Please pick them up from Mr. Lacey as soon as possible!


DIRECTIONS TO ROWAN UNIVERSITY

Take I-295 South to Route 42 South (towards Atlantic City).
Then take Route 42 to Route 55 South (towards Glassboro/Vineland).
Drive approximately ten miles until you reach Route 322.
Take the exit for Route 322 East towards Glassboro.
When you enter the town of Glassboro (on 322), look for a Wawa and a traffic light on your left.
Make a left at that light (This is right before Rowan).
Then make your next right. You will enter one of the back parking lots of Rowan. Park as close to the Wilson Music Hall (this is where the performances are) as you can.
Allow 30-45 minutes for the trip.
