The Future
The tears that I shed are for you,
For your life of uncertainty
The confusion sets in until reality is chaos,
And the world is just a mix of emotions
I have sacrificed for you
But you do not know the enormity of the infliction
You cause me to look ahead and to my sides,
Rather then the isolation of the road behind me
Understanding is a game of patience for both sides,
There are no winners or losers, nor places of championship
Just trust, built on minutes of hours, days of months,year after obstacle filled year.
Be to my side friend, for what may come will come,
It is better to learn to live together, then it is to live to learn alone
