Voting Section


voting set-up
(amendment 1) 5 day regulation on voting starting the day after the vote is issued.
(amendment 2) 3/5th's of the members must vote "yes" for it to pass
(amendment 3) If an issue passes at least half of the members most vote on it (either yes or no) for it to go into affect.


Proposition 6 (5.7.00) Issue 6 calls for a full New Noise Campaign to support presidential candidate Ralph Nader.

outcome of vote:10 members voted yes, 0 members voted no, 12 members didn't vote.
proposition 6 doesn't pass do to amendment 3


Proposition 5 (5.2.00) issue 5 calls for a changing of 3/5th's for a vote to pass, to 4/5th's for a vote to pass.

outcome of the vote:7 members vote yes, 11 members vote no, 4 members didn't vote.
proposition 5 doesn't pass do to amendment 2


Proposition 4 (4.28.00) Issue 4 calls for a changing of the voting dead line from 3 days to 5 days.

outcome of vote:14 members said yes, 3 members said no, 6 members didn't vote.
proposition 4 passes


Proposition 3 (4.26.00) This issue; if an issue passes at least half of the members most vote on it (either yes or no) for it to go into affect.

outcome of the vote:10 members said yes, 3 members said no, 10 members didn't vote.
proposition 3 passes


Proposition 2 (4.23.00) the second issue voted on will be a platform for the new noise written by myself (john). This will be a list of point's the members of the new noise will fight for.

outcome of the vote: 8 members said yes , 6 members said no, 9 members didn't vote.
proposition 2 doesn't pass do to amendment 2


Proposition 1 (4.15.00): The first issue voted on will be how the voting system itself will be set up. Proposition 1 calls for a 3 day regulation on voting, and a 3/5 majority of the vote to pass.

outcome of the vote: 18 members said yes, 1 member said no, 6 members didn't vote.
proposition 1 passes
