Cheats and Glitches

24 Bottles!

First equip a bottle, then go find something to put in a bottle (example: fish, bug, blue fire, fairy, or anything else you can put
inside a bottle). Now, hit the C Button to catch the item and hit start directly after hitting C button. Select an item you do not
want (Claim Check is recommended) and equip it instead of the bottle you were catching the item with. Press start again and
you will see Link still catching the item. Now you have an extra bottle. Do this on all of your weapons and you will have 24
bottles!

Again, don't save if you accidentally put a bottle over an important item or weapon. You should only do it to useless items like
the claim check after you get biggorons sword, or the magic seeds after you've planted them all.... just use common sense.

Swordless Link!

After you beat Gannondorf (final 2 battles), GANNON will
hit the master sword out of your hands. After he does this, SAVE your game, then
reset your game.... this will start you at the beginning of gannons castle with NO sword
equipped. Now, leave gannons castle and enter hyrule field.... Call epona and get on the
horse. Being that you don't have any sword equipped, the game will let you use
any item that is able to put into "C".  Note-you can not have the biggoron sword for this trick to work.

Epona Cam.

First do the sword less Link trick then hop on Epona. Have your deku nuts equiped to a "C" button. While riding uphill hold "Z",
then press the "C" button with the deku nuts equipped on it. If the camera stays behind Epona you when you fall off you did it
right. Now the camera will stay behind Epona instead of you. Press "A" when you want Link to reappear on the horse.

Debug Menu For Zelda

This is a very cool trick where you can get a debug menu for Zelda.
First go to the temple of time and start to do the crooked cartridge trick.
Only this time do it much slower and when link becomes invisible
and you hear "shhhhhhhhhh" start walking around the game will freeze up
but differently.  then press these buttons.

      * L button + R button + Z button
      * Control pad UP + "C" DOWN
      * "C" UP + Control pad DOWN
             * Control pad LEFT + "C" button left
            * "C" RIGHT + Control pad RIGHT
            * A button + B button + Start Button

eg. for the first step hold the L and R buttons and then press Z.

Use Any Weponon Epona!

While on Epona use
the Deku Nut. Link will detach from the horse, and the control stick will control Link and Epona
separately. Whoa! When you push the button to go faster you will mount an invisible horse then
appear over epona's back. Even Weirder! Equip Bombs and drop them behind the horse as you
ride. If you are at Lake Hylia do the Deku Nut Detachment then go into the water put on the Iron
Boots and do not have the Zora Tunic on. Now push "Faster" and you will mount underwater
then be on the horse with all the sound effect muffled out of the water and a timer ticking down
your doom. If the time runs out Link will die in perfectly good air. There will be a gurlgly sound
after you die. Poor guy... Here's another thing if you do the Deku Nut Detachment you can pick
up a weed, but when you do you will mount Epona. While link is dismounted he is invincible. Play
Saria's Song while dismounted and after you are done talking to her you will be hovering over the
horse controlling the horse. This is some wild stuff. Link is mounted in thin air over the horse!
Remember how Useless Fayore's Wind was, well now while mounted on Epona equip it and it
will work in Hyrule Field or anywhere else you can get Epona to! No lie, this stuff is the truth.

Link Can Fly!

Alright, now wouldn't it be great if Link could fly? Well he can...Sort of. To do the following trick
you must first do the "Sword less Link" trick. Get on Epona. Travel to an area near something that
Link can grapple onto with the Hookshot. The previous trick would allow you to use the
Hookshot on Epona. As far as I know you can Do this in Gerudo Valley (screenshots) and Lake
Hylia. In Gerudo Valley ride Epona as far as the bridge. Now stop her, then take out the
Hookshot. Sometimes it may not let you fire it or just do a click sound, but if you de-equip it and
re-equip it to another "C" button it usually works. Shoot at the pole in the Bridge. Now push
"Return" then push it again for "Down." When you do this Link will fly off the horse grappled to
the pole. You can now move Link anywhere in and out of the area. If you find your way outside
of the gaming environment you will be in empty background space where you can drift into the
horizon and be gone. There is no way to escape from this and you'll have to reset the game. At
Lake Hylia you can grapple onto the Scarecrow after you play the Scarecrow's Song and make
him appear on top of the Laboratory. You can escape here by getting hit by an enemy.

Fishing Trick

You can only do this if you have the older version of Zelda (1.1)

You can only do this trick if you are adult Link and have the Hover Boots.  First pay the man to go fishing, then put on the Hover Boots.
Walk up to the edge of the water, take a few steps into the water and press B before the boots stop hovering.
It will cast the bait but you will still be able to walk around. You can also catch fish by using this trick

Laser Pointer Link

As adult Link, select the hookshot as one of the C-buttons. While holding Z,
press the C-button for the hookshot. Then press R to pull out your shield.
If you did it correctly, you should be holding you shield with the same camera
angle. Press A to escape the camera angle. If you performed the trick right,
Link's hookshot will still be "aiming" while you are moving around.

Warped Voices

Here is a cool glitch that I found out while searching the lake
bottom of Lake Hyrulye. You can either wait until the night or day
comes or you can work this glitch the easy way. Stand in the water ( at
about head level) and play the song of suns. Quickly run into the water
and Z-Target. Wait about a second and you should hear a rooster crowing
or a wolf howling with some sort of weird, deranged noise.

Crooked Cartridge

First start a new file and begin a game in the
Kokiri Forest. You know how Mido always blocks you from leaving the Kokiri Forest or getting
to the Deku Tree until you have the Kokiri Sword and Shield. Well you can get past him by
tricking the N64 itself! Here's how to do it. First get as close as you can to Mido. While gently
pulling up on the left side of the Game Cartridge while the N64 is on push up on the control stick.
Don't pull it out too far or the game will crash. If you do it just right you will go past Mido and
end up in the passageway to the Deku Tree or even better yet you can get past the guy blocking
the western passage and get in the Bridge that leads to Hyrule Field! Remember to push the game
cartridge back down so all the garbled noise goes away. Once you enter these places you will have no shield and sword. You will meet saria like normal and receive the Fairy Ocarina.

Over 100 Gold Scultullas!!!

(submitted by G2Schmidt@AOL.com)
100+ gold skulltulas.  After you sneak past the guards in the
castle courtyard, swim down the moat until you find a tree. Play the song of storms to open a
hole, drop through and turn to the left to the one web. set it on fire and equip the
boomerang. destroy both skulltulas and when the token appears make sure your
back is facing the portal above, I recommend to save the game throw your
boomerang and just when it hits the token back flip back and an into the
portal if done right you should have the token but the Gold Skulltula will
still be alive. repeat until you have 100 or more!

Get Below Zora's Ice!!!

For this trick you must have sword less Link trick. First get on Epona and go to lake Hylea, go to
where the pillars are and position Epona so she is facing in the direction of the now frozen
entrance to Zoras domain. Equip the iron boots and push the ocarina button so that you
aren't on Epona slowly walk forward so that you don't cause Epona to nay and walk
backwards. Keep going until you fall in front of the entrance, now push the A button, but
right after you do that pause and switch to the Kokiri boots before you actually mount
Epona. You will now be sitting in the water but re-equip your iron boots so you have
enough depth to switch boots back and swim toward the entrance to Zora's Domain. If you
did it right you should warp to Zora's Domain, once there quickly equip your iron boots so
as not to rise to the surface. But this proves now that that mysterious hole everyone is
talking about does not lead to the triforce. Enjoy

The Master glitch!!!

Master glitch - First, ride Epona to Gerudo Valley. Cross the bridge and go to the
carpenters' tent. While still on Epona angle to the right and try to go in the right side
of the tent. When you are lined up like this, press A to speed up and hold left. If you
did it correctly you should be inside the tent without Epona. This will get easier after
you get the hang of it. This leads to many glitches.

Invisibility - Do the above cheat. While in the tent warp to Lake Hylia. The
invisibility will end when you the screen redraws. If you grappling on to the tree the
game will lock up in a fixed camera angle and if you wait you will see your yellow
position indicator on the map go all over the screen, way outside of the map. If you
go to the side of Lake Hylia by the exit and call Epona, when you ride Epona it will
look like you are Epona. You will be invincible from enemies but can still lose life
from falling off the ladder and drown.

Get stuck WAY above Lake Hylia First, go to Lake Hylia and go into the Water
Temple. Play Farore's Wind. Now go to the carpenters' tent and do the master
glitch. While in the tent, warp to the Fire Temple. Then go in the temple. Play
Farore's Wind and warp back to the point in the Water Temple. When you exit the
dungeon you will be on Epona WAY above the lake. You cannot get down so you
must reset the game. You can also get stuck above the water just outside Zora's
Domain. From the Fire Temple, go see the Gorons. Then go to their warp to the
Lost Woods. From the Lost Woods, go to the underwater warp to Zora's Domain.
Then exit to Hyrule Field making sure you are in the water when you exit. This will
also get you stuck so you must reset the game.

Get under a minute in the marathon race First do the master glitch. Then ask to
race the running man. You should already be on Epona when you leave the tent so
you will gain a couple of seconds. If you use this with the sword less Link glitch you
can finish in under a minute (and still lose). At the end of the race still going full
speed use the Ocarina to get off Epona. These two glitches will help improve your
              time.

Ride on Epona while being DEAD - Lose almost all your life. Make it so that one
bomb hit will kill you. Do the master glitch. Warp to outside the Fire Temple, go see
the Gorons, and then exit through the Lost Woods. Then go Kokori Forest. Go to
the bridge where the running man finishes. Throw a bomb and exit at the same time
you get hit. This may take many tries. You should be taken to Hyrule Field and be on
Epona without any life if it worked correctly. You will not be able to use any
weapons even with the sword less Link glitch. Link will die whenever he gets off
              Epona.
