Some Poems to Enjoy

Forever Free

Of all the things I've ever seen,Off all the
dreams I've ever dreamed,the finest sight that's
come to me,White horses wild beside the
sea. They ran across the trackless sandIn that
remote, forgotten land,And in their running
they were freeBeside the boundless, unchained
sea. They raced the first light of the dayAnd
surged across a shallow bayTo feed at ease in
grassy plainsWith wind alone to groom thier
manes. No barn or stable was their home.No one
could govern where they roamed. They galloped
on the fenceless tractsWith no ones burden on
their backs. And each swift horse was nature's
childAt home on land forever wild,And each
wild horse was meant to beAt home on land
forever free.

Truffles

Truffles is very small,
Only once, have I taken a fall.
She knows me, I know her stride,
Riding along her I shall guide.
She can get smart,
But will always be in my heart.
Whether I'm riding or just by her stall,
Truffles will be the best pony of all.

Free Spirit

A warm summer day
Clear and bright.
An open meadow
With no end in sight.
Astride my horse
I feel so free,
As if something
Ancient is pulling Me.
Somewhere,
Perhaps only in my mind,
I hear drums.
The feeling of a spirit
Passes through me,
Setting my Soul
Completely Free.
We race across the
Valley,
Competing with the Wind.
Enjoying the Sun
And our total Freedom.

Where I would rather be .....

I would rather be
On a horse's back,
Galloping in the field,
Early in the morning.
I would rather be
on a horse's back,
Jumping jumps in the field,
Here and there.
I would rather be
Sitting on a saddle,
Than a lousy chair,
In a lousy class.
Horses are beautiful,
Horses are elegant.
I would rather be
With them,
Instead of being
At school.
NOw that I tough of them,
I want to join them,
In their horse's life
Galopping here and there,
Eating hay all day long,
That'S the life
I wish I'll have.
