Crochet List Afghan Exchange

This is going to be the Crochet List Afghan Exchange. Here are the rules and regulations of the exchange. My name is Liz Blake and I will be your coordinator for this exchange. If you have any questions about this exchange, please don't hesitate to e-mail me at eblake@ix.netcom.co, (Liz Blake) and I will get back to you as soon as possible. The rules and procedures are as follows: YOU MUST BE A CURRENT MEMBER OF THE CROCHET L*ST(crochet@rpmdp.com) YOU MUST HAVE A IDENTIFIABLE EMAIL ADDRESS NO ANONS YOU MUST MAIL A COMPLETE AFGHAN TO YOUR EXCHANGE PARTNER IN A TIMELY MANNER SO THAT EVERYONE ENJOYS THE EXCHANGE This is different from other exchanges because it will take longer and is a bigger commitment to each other. When you send me a name I will match it up with your partner. You will each be sent the name, address, and email information. Each pair will make an afghan for each other. When you get your name, you get in touch with your partner and decide together what colors, styles and preferences you have. If you want something for a child, or of that nature is okay too. This is an exchange that leaves it completely between partners, with no real specific size or color or shape guidelines. to Join: 1- email me at eblake@ix.netcom.com (liz blake) with your name, snail mail and e-mail addresses. Please put Afghan Exchange or CLAX in the subject line. I will then assign you a partner and e-mail you their information. PLEASE hit hit reply on the e-mail I send so I know that you have received your partner's name. 2- Make an afghan from the pattern of your choice as worked out with your partner. 3- You have 3 months to complete and mail an afghan. The important thing is to complete the assignment you have and to remember that, like you, there is someone else out there patiently waiting and watching their mailbox for their afghan also. 4-Mail the afghan to your assigned exchange partner (that was emailed to you separately). If you like, you can send a picture, recipe, note, some little thing so your exchange partner can get to know you better. Send an email to your partner to let them know that their afghan is on the way. Please CC me so that I know when you've sent it out too. 5-When you receive your afghan, email the person who sent you the afghan a thank-you. Please send me, eblake@ix.netcom.com (liz blake) an email also so that I know you received it. You can also post thank you notes to Crochet L*st. Most people love to know what they are missing. Also, please keep records... I may need your help from time to time. 6- If you would like more information or help, just email me. 7- And Remember------HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!
