I am Srinivas Mohan Thotakura, from the city of Vijayawada also known as "Blaze Wade" during the time of British for its horrid summer temperatures, a city on the banks of the river Krishna and with the blessing of Goddess Kanakadurga in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. Vijayawada is the capital city of Andhra Pradesh and had different names during its 2000 years of history. The other names are Amaravathi, Vijayavatika, Hechavada, Bazavada, Kanakapuram and Rajendracholapuram.
I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from V.R.Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada. My intermediate education was from Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada and secondary education from Nirmala High School, Vijayawada. In 2020, I received an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management. I also received certifications from MIT Sloan in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cyber Security (CYB), Internet of Things (IoT) and Understanding and Solving Complex Business Problems.
My family is a close knit, my father (Late) Ramachandra Rao left us in '96 and my mother Pramila Rani is living in my hometown. I have 2 sisters living in India (Vanaja and Srivani) married to (Venkateswara Rao Mandava and Ramesh Kilaru). My sisters have 3 beautiful kids (Nitesh, Sowmika and Kaushika).
Currently, I am working @ T-Mobile from 20 years. My earlier stints include Metro by T-Mobile, Sprint, Virgin Mobile, Boostmobile, Assurance Wireless, Nextel, NASD, NASDAQ, Conversion Marketing, Qwest, Rewards Plus of America and MCI Worldcom.
On March 24th 2000, I married Neelima Gummadi, a 4 year junior to me from elementary school. Neelima presently works as a contractor for US Defense and Intelligence community and is employed by Booz Allen Hamilton.
In 2005, we had a new addition into our family and decided to name her Yashili meaning "Famous or Fame" in Sanskrit. Yashili Thotakura was born on August 04, 2005 at the Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, VA.
My interests are writing letters, learning more information about big corporations and closely following The Washington Nationals, The Washington Commanders, The Washington Wizards and The Washington Capitals.

1) Watching President Barak Obama swear-in as the President of the United States for the 2nd time on Jan 20' 2013.
2) Watching President Barak Obama and Michelle Obama, President Joe Biden and Jill Biden in the inaugural parade from close proximity.
3) Watching Dale Earnhardt Jr. compete at the Nascar Sprint All Star Challenge from 2005-2010 @ Lowes Motor Speedway, Concord, NC.
4) Watching two of Michael Jordan’s NBA games playing for Wizards in 2003 at The Capital One Arena in Washington D.C, one being his highest points for the season against the New Orleans Hornets.
5) Watching Madonna perform live @ The Capital One Arena in Washington D.C on her MDNA Tour in 2012 and her Re Invention Tour in 2004.
6) Watching Celine Dion perform live @ The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas including her famous Titanic song.
7) Watching Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee talk to NRIs in DAR Constitution Hall, Washington D.C.
8) Watching Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi talk to NRIs in Madison Square Garden, New York.
9) Flying in a chopper over Grand Canyon, AZ, one of the wonders in the world.
