My name is David J. Fowler, and I am 24 years old. I am in the United States Army, and I am currently stationed at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, which is located right outside of the beautiful city of Huntsville.
I’ve been here since March 1st, 1999. I can’t really complain at the area, and yes, it is true what they say about “Southern hospitality”.
Ever since I was a kid, I was always good with animals. Since I’ve been here, I’ve purchased two Ball pythons. Their names are Titan and Atlas.
Titan is currently a yearling (born sometime during the Spring of ’99). He is currently around 26 to 28 inches in total length, and weighs roughly three to four ounces. Yes, I know. He is underweight for a snake his age, and length.
Atlas is roughly around four feet in total length, and weighs three and a half pounds. I estimate his age to be around three to four years old.
Okay, I know what you’re thinking... “Pythons, sheesh...” But, one thing I’d like to say is that the image of the python and boa has been totally misconstrued over the years. I would like to help educate people about these often misunderstood animals.
One of my life’s dreams is to become a Veterinarian specializing in reptiles. However, if this is not the case, then I would like to become a Herpetologist. This is basically a Biologist who specializes in the area of reptiles and amphibians.
Please feel free to e-mail me, if you have any questions. I will be more than willing to reply to any and all messages.
