This month's meeting will be held next Wednesday, August 24th, at 7:30 p.m., in the Community Room of Phillipsburg Town Hall. This month, member Paul Carpenito will provide the entertainment, with a slide show covering various subjects. Paul always puts on a good show, I'm looking forward to seeing what he shows!

FIREHOUSE REPORT: Work is progressing in and on the building. The windows are slowly being re-puttied and painted. VOLUNTEERS are still needed Tuesday and Thursday evenings. This is your organization, GET INVOLVED! In an effort to stop a leakage problem and get additional light in the rear of the building, it has been decided to install a window where there once was one. If any member knows where we might obtain a good used or better double hung window, cheap or FREE, see Jim Anderson at the meeting.

C&S REPORT: The site selection committee has been considering different locations in Phillipsburg. They hope to present a proposal at next month's Council work session. Things are moving along, it has taken time but this is a project we have to do right the first time. Member Jim Heston is looking into insurance coverage for the project.
