- Welcome to my Ys homepage. I became extremely addicted
to this weird little game that I've had since I was eight. It starts
off with you as a warrior who must buy armor in order to defeat monsters
around the town. Then you meet this bizarre sorceress who asks you to find
the six books of Ys. As you find the books, you slowly discover the
history of an ancient land until it is time for you to save Fiina (a girl
who happens to be a goddess) and to save the world from a villian named
Malificus. Although more games were created, I have yet to manage
to get them to work. *sniffle* However, you may read the books
of Ys, the ending sequence, etc. Cool, no?

Ending Sequence
Ys has two goddesses. Fiina is the younger one,
but my favorite is Leah, the elder. She appears early on as a poetess who
asks the hero, Arick, to find her silver harmonica as she can't compose
any thing without it. I am still looking for more information on
her, and if anyone can find that, or a version of Ys II for the PC, please
e-mail me. If anyone has any questions as to how to get through Ys
I, I would be glad to help as much as I can. However, due to the complexity
of the mazes, I have not tried to write a walk-through.
