The Super Computers of today need computer updating, about every two years; to keep there networks up to date, with the world. they are used many times for nuclear plants, physics, chemistry, and they also can animate things like how the universe changes in a 1000 years.
They cost at least a billion dollars to build them; and that why IBM USA, and Nvidia China have the fastest super computers in the world, that they made. But; imagine computer networks running at Super Computer speeds. So; computers of today are far from ever becoming a thing of the past.
